We enjoyed a very nice 3 night stay here. This was the smallest room we had on our 7 city European trip, but it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It's conveniently located near the train stations and very walkable to all the sites. Good value, would stay here again.

I really liked my stay here. I travelled alone as a young girl and I felt safe. The room was perfect size for me, which included a mini fridge! As well as the bathroom- great and clean. The option of breakfast was good to have. I enjoyed having the station - gare du l’Est , as well as the metro station 3 second walk away. There is a shopping market right next door for basic goods. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable as well as friendly. The overall design of the hotel is pretty- my fav was the staircase.

I ordered a Privilege room for one single person, but eventually I was assigned a two-bed room without bathtub. When I went to the staff and asked about this, they just responded “we cannot fulfill everyone’s requirement, it depends on what we have at the moment.” What made me sulky is their attitude, so cold and unfriendly. About paying the city tax, they were not willing to make change. I’ve been to Paris over 20 times and I have never met this situation. A hotel with this kind of reception staff DO NOT deserve to be a 3-star hotel. By the way, I can hear the sound and vibration of trains (could be the metro) from very early morning till the midnight. This is also annoying to me. I definitely won’t choose this hotel next time I come to Paris.
