Overall, we were happy with our stay. Although our room was not entirely clean (food crumbs on tables, shower not cleaned), the pool water was green (couldn’t see the Avi logo on bottom of pool) so sketchy with getting in the water. Customer service was great. We felt well taken care of.

The fireworks show made the stay worth it. The employees I interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is just rundown and dirty.

It was an older hotel but was clean. We had problems staying connected to wifi and they gave us coupons for free coffee in the casino because there aren't any in any of the rooms. Mattresses could stand to be replaced be not horrible. The pool and hot tub areas were nice. It wasn't a bad place but I didn't realize how far it was from the Laughlin strip 15 to 20 miles.

Love it here

Love this place! The hotel is lovely with all of its artwork and history. Aubrey at check in is delightful. The room is clean and comfortable. The pool areas are wonderful and the beach area is kept up so nicely. As are all of the grounds. At the pool Ian and Jessica are wonderful host/hostess and very attentive to the guests. The head groundskeeper -sean?- takes great pride in his care and it shows. I love having the chance to stay and enjoy all of it.

The Avi is my go to spot in Nevada when visiting nearby family. Rooms are comfortable but the pool situation is terrible. Green water at both pools and jacuzzi’s. I know it happens but it was the same just a couple of weeks ago according to a family member that went there for his kids birthday. Pool team needs to step it up.

The Thoughts of this place is Ideal. Private beach. Beautiful pool area. Bar and Food choice was great. But this hotel is definitely NOT clean. Running water was Dirty. Air quality inside the room and casino was muggy and was like a Smokers area All around.

this property should be condemned it's absolutely disgusting dirty and super rundown the whole place smells bad and is falling apart the stuff themselves even admitted that at this point it was end of season and the place had been trashed the river smells like sewer and the pool was so full of screaming children it was impossible to enjoy the food options are non-existent and I was told by staff to avoid. the rooms were not clean, they moved me three times where one room didn't even have hot water. stains on the beds and just overall no maintenance the only bright spot is the staff, they're very nice and apologetic it's clear these are common complaints bottom line, avoid at all costs

I grew up coming here and watching the place get run down has made so sad. The bathroom in my room seemed dusty and dirt was left in corners and under the vanity. The shower and tub is stained yellow from age. Overall my stay was still great as the staff make it a great experience. The mattresses and some of the linens should be changed out soon.

Room was clean but the pool was dirty. The water was green when we arrived. The next day they drained the pool water. During my stay the pool was not available. We like the Avi pool and really enjoy it when it is clean. After my stay, I reached out to the Avi staff for a partial reimbursement or discount or credit because of no pool access. They never responded. We were disappointed during our stay.

We stayed at the Avi Resort as part of a group. We rented three rooms for four days, accommodating a total of five people. The Casino and hotel hallways were very cold. Definitely bring a jacket to wear while inside. The Casino is smaller than expected. A few tables had a few people playing. The casino was not busy (not even on Saturday and Sunday). There are several places to eat. We ate at Feather's Cafe, Subway, and Panda Express; the food and service were good. The room did not have a microwave. The TV was broken. My sister and I had to fix. The carpet was dirty. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was not working. The front desk directed us to the others; they also were not working. Red flashing service light and the one on the main floor was flashing "clean". The front desk said they would put in a ticket; however, this was the same throughout all 4 days. No resort fees! The front desk personnel were very friendly. They ensured that all our rooms were together as requested. Melody was working when we checked in, and she was very pleasant and helpful.
