The Ipanema Inn is a standard beach hotel. It was in a great location near the beach and restaurants. It is a great hotel for solo travelers. It is convenient and the amenities are great. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at the property. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with great options. We had dinner at the property one night and the food was also great. We stayed in the standard room (comfortable bed and sheets, the shower pressure was great and the cleaning stuff did a great job every day during our stay). We loved the location ( 2 min walk from the beach and lots to do around the hotel). It was also great not having to worry about renting beach chairs and umbrellas as they provided both.

Amazing spot in a super safe area that is incredibly walkable. There was some construction on the building next door so it was a little loud but that’s beyond the hotel’s control. The staff is so kind and nice, Lucas at the front desk helped us out and every other staff member was incredible.

Had a phenomenal experience from start to finish. I had no issue as someone who does not know Portuguese. I would like to point out the exceptional hospitality in Margiore. She was fantastic and made me feel so comfortable coming in from a 15 hour flight from the US. I will definitely be returning the next time I come to Rio!
