Old cosy hotel

Very central near the SF city “train” , very polite and nice staff, and the cosy diner Davis where you feel welcome 🙏 All is like this in the 1970, the beds are little tired, but if you need a cheap, central vintage hotel to stay while you explore San Francisco and don’t mind the view directly into a gray concrete wall this is a acceptable hotel

My choice for sure

Room was the size of my own bedroom, almost panicked because I thought it had no personal bathroom when we first arrived but it was behind a door, didn’t have a heater or air conditioner in the room just a ceiling fan BUT found out we didn’t need either room was just right and weather in San Feansixo was good. No window to open for fresh air But that was okay too, fan did fine. Ron was a big help very nice made us feel at home. The dinner next door was awesome for breakfast, felt secure and safe staying here and it was very near everything we needed to get around the city…I def would not drive around myself.
