I’ve stayed at several Ibis hotels before, but this one had the smallest room by far. There wasn’t enough space to comfortably open our suitcases or move around, which was quite inconvenient. Thankfully, we were moved to a larger room, which made a big difference!
One major downside was the TV casting feature. It was difficult to use, and we had to call reception twice because it wasn’t working. This was particularly frustrating on a rainy evening when we had planned to stay in and watch something. Unfortunately, one staff member didn’t seem too concerned about resolving the issue, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the location of the hotel is fantastic – surrounded by great local eateries, coffee shops, and supermarkets. The shower, however, was hit or miss – especially in the evenings when it struggled to stay consistently warm.
Overall, while the staff were friendly for the most part and the area was lovely, the room size and technical issues and room size did affect our experience.
