Good budget alternative in Paris

A less expensive alternative in Paris. This hotel is literally on top of the Metro and connected to a shopping mall with a giant Wal-Mart sized grocery store and a handful of basic food choices (the halal roasted chicken was excellent). The area is basic but felt safe and was quiet. Staff were available and helpful when needed. This is a multi-cultural immigrant neighborhood. Metro line directly to the Marais and Opera in 10 minutes.

I had a great stay overall. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the price was affordable. It was also well-connected to buses and the underground, with local shops just a short walk away. I didn’t need anything else, and I was happy with my choice. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the window without a handle, which made the room a bit hot, and a small crack in the shower head that caused a minor leak while showering, and thin walls where you can hear neighbours flushing water in a toilet or shutting doors. However, these issues weren’t very disruptive since I only stayed for three nights.

Hotel reception staff were very friendly and are quick at responding to any requests you may have. Room was spacious and clean and bed was comfy. Bar and restaurant area was modern and very reasonably priced. For a budget hotel this was great for us as a couple and great transport links in and around paris. If i was to find any faults the toilet cistern was continuing to make a noise all night and you could hear people in the corridor, that is the only fault.

Baffles me that this was a 3 star hotel. The room that I got looked nothing like the pictures. Room was dark and tiny. Looked like the bed was made, but cleaning was subpar. Oil stains/dirty carpet, mouldy shower, uncleaned/sticky tiles to begin! Only good was the breakfast buffet, but I’m pretty easy when it comes to food, so it does not redeem all the bad! When I complained, I got a new room, carpet wasn’t oil stained, but all the rest remained. Walls were paper thin. There was a group that yelled well into the early AM.

Hotel that is right near Metro Gallieni on Line 3 and there is a shopping centre right next door. Basic room that is probably ready for redecorating and the carpet could do with changing. However, I am pleased with my stay overall; I thought it was good value for money. The room and bedding were clean, there was a bath and tea/coffee making facilities. My Internet connection was good. The only thing I did not like was that I could not open the window. I understand the safety issue but most hotels allow windows to be tilted open slightly to allow fresh air in and for me this is important as hotel rooms get very stuffy. There was no air con either. The receptionist kindly brought me a fan which helped a bit, though and in fact I found all staff on reception very polite and helpful.

Where to start this property is very gross the first room I was in the carpet was literally black, the bathroom was literally falling apart under the sink and the toilet wouldn’t flush unless you hold the button for a minute . I slept in this room the first night and the walls are paper thin I heard what sounded like a money counter not really sure what it was then snoring from both sides of my room, I asked them to move my room and they said what’s the issue I said the room is just gross I was terrified to walk on the carpet. They said “they don’t understand the issue”. They accommodated me and moved me to another room where the carpet was just as bad. I don’t understand get rid of the carpets it’s so gross. Then the parking lot is a joke they don’t tell you that you can get a code to get into the parking lot I had to walk all the way around to get to my car come to find out they have a piece of paper smaller than a gum wrapper with codes to get through the doors to the parking garage. The hotel has the metro station outside and honestly that’s why I booked and stayed.

Ótimo custo benefício. A acomodação é simples, porém a cama é bastante confortável. O quarto é exatamente como nas imagens, não possui microondas e nem frigobar, o que dificulta a realização de refeições no quarto. O prédio é literalmente na frente da estação metro e possui recepção o dia inteiro, o que aumenta a segurança do local. Sobre o bairro, me passou uma sensação de insegurança, porém como o hotel é na frente da estação considerei esse problema bastante reduzido. Há um Mcdonalds do lado do hotel e outro restaurante na outra rua, o que fornece uma boa opção de comidas próximas caso precise jantar.
