Shrigley Hall is a beautiful place, we attended a wedding yesterday and it was a beautiful perfect day, staff were so lovely, we stayed overnight, the room was spacious with lovely views over the golf course, the bathroom could have done with a better clean, floor was dirty and around taps and plug hole were dirty, mentioned to receptionist on check out, the food at the wedding and the breakfast the following morning was delicious

2/10 Terrible

No Tv Remote and even when we got a member of staff to help, he couldn't get it to work. No toiletries included. No main light so really dark. Really dated room. Really noisy, lots of banging which woke us up. Was glad to leave.
Olivia, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Everything was perfect
Gavin, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The main hotel was very nice, large car park, the receptionist was very friendly and the grounds were well maintained however the road leading up to the hotel has lots of potholes, the room we stayed in was very basic with mould in the bathroom and cobwebs on the walls, the lift was out of order for our entire stay and there were a lot of stairs.
Clare, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

beautiful surroundings. nice looking areas within the hotel. didnt see the spa, fully booked even though I was staying for 2 nights. as a result, I went out and ate and spent time elsewhere but was a very nice hotel. good value for money
Simon, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The staff were amazing - gave us an upgrade as it was my daughter’s 18th birthday trip. A spacious suite and super comfy base for a spa & a trip into Manchester
Martin, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Location and outside the hotel absolutely amazing and the check into the room was swift and easy however everything else sub-par When entering the room, TV covered in dust, sanitary towels still in the bins, bathroom floor cracked and broken, shower hanging off the wall. Waiting times at the bar absolutely ridiculous as all other bars appear to be closed. Disappointing
Kyle, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Beautiful and spacious room with lovely colours, stylish paintings and peacocks view. One of the best spas I've been to with outdoor heated pool and gorgeous cafe. Elegant restaurant, luxurious staircase with paintings, grand exterior of the building and lovely landscapes.

Brian, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Beautiful setting, grand old hotel.

It would have been helpful to know about the road closures nearby. I had a very interesting tour of the back lanes around the Peak District which Google managed admirably until depositing me at a farmhouse. Luckily I’m from N Devon, used to Exmoor lanes, and a farmer myself!
Clare, 2-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Terrible, damp on the walls, scuffed up head board (which didn’t match the bed !!) broken television and being woken up with the bins at 6am I think it’s a disgrace in my opinion it’s pure and utter disrespect and humiliation of my purchase.
Hayley, 1-night trip

Hotel stay

The Hotel lioked amazing from the outside, the grounds surrounding it was lovely. I did find the bedrooms are a bit off a letdown, i found the room was not very welcoming and a bit dilapidated, for the price off the rooms ,but otherwise clean. Myself and my partner wete going to use thd facilities but due to the costs off these wed opted out .
Sandra, 1-night trip

Lovely grounds, free parking, amazing property for the price
Ashley, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Room was old and undated , toilet didn’t flush toilet paper ,waited an hour for someone to sort out door lock because the batteries ran out and the lift broke I would never stay hear again if you paid me and I would not recommend it to anyone
