I have been staying at this location for the past 6-8 years. It has always been a peaceful relaxing time. Bar/restuarant next door has good food and drinks. Staff is always accommodating and professional. Great spot for families. Perfect location for exploring the many vineyards in the surrounding area. And just enjoying nature.

Visited town for the weekend. The hotel is still going thru some remodeling but otherwise looks pretty good. The free breakfast was basic but good. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Pool area was ok. I didn’t pay for a lake view room but still had a nice view of it.

The hotel is one of our favorites. It is being remodeled right now so there were things not up to snuff. We couldn’t get on the internet, and some of the charging plugs didn’t work. But it’s still a great hotel and we will continue to frequent it!

Doing some remodeling.
Had stayed here before a few years ago. Great location and views of Lake Michigan. Appears rooms are being upgraded gradually. Our room was mostly complete. Nice breakfast area. Biggest complaint was the pool area. The water appeared cloudy so we didn't go in it. The hot tub was hot but the Jets didn't work! And the rim of the hot tub was dirty or stained from past use. If this area is important to you, call ahead to check status of the pool and hot tub. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean.

A very nice location: just a short drive to downtown St. Joseph and the 94. Very quiet and seems like a family-oriented hotel. The hotel is dated, but looks like renovations are taking place. The pool area is highly chlorinated, good for keeping germs away but bad for the eyes and lungs. Overall, 8 out of 10.

This is our second time staying here. The hotel is undergoing renovation but it seems they could have it a little tidier than it was--seemed to be a bit dirty. It snowed while we were there but the sidewalks were not cleared off, making it potentially dangerous to walk. The bed is very comfortable.
