We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, had a less-than-pleasant experience. While the rooms appear stylish in photos, they lack functionality. We booked the "Suite with 2 Princess Beds," and while the beds looked charming, a major issue was the smoke detector placed directly in the middle of the room. Its white and green lights flickered every minute throughout the night, making it nearly impossible to get any restful sleep.
The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, only a few public bays outside that are mostly occupied. Hotel do offer permits for £8 per day, but if you move the car and lose space then you have to go find parking elsewhere.
The quality of toiletries provided was very poor, so I would strongly recommend bringing your own shampoo, conditioner, and other essentials. The cushions were odd and extremely uncomfortable.
Housekeeping was also disappointing. Although someone had made the bed, towels were not replaced and the tea bags and drinking water weren't restocked. To top it off, our water glasses were mysteriously moved into the bathroom, which felt quite unhygienic.
On a positive note, the location is good. But given the number of issues we experienced, we won’t be staying here again.
