Amazing hotel and staff. Our stay at this hotel was sooo good, comfortable, awesome view, very friendly and serviable restaurant staff especially the manager of the restaurant, Yianna, who is very professional and lovely person. The Electra is a small, intimate hotel where the staff are incredible! The facilities are everything you could need for a holiday, Pool, Bar, Restaurant, Spa - all rooms have a sea view. The team (spa, reception, kitchen, bar and restaurant) made the holiday even more special - they were attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

We loved everything about the hotel and the stay - staff in particular were absolutely wonderful, gorgeous pool and rooms were lovely. Only thing we hadn’t realised was just how close it was to the airport with planes flying right overhead. That said there were not many planes at all, maybe 7 or so a day so it wasn’t a problem.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Electra hotel in Kephalonia. Walking distance to a small beach and very close to the airport. We really enjoyed the food and from the restaurant it's a joy to watch the sunset with a nice glass of local wine. Best of all was the friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. They definitely put a smile on your face and make the stay memorable. For us it was an ideal break and we'd love to come back next year.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff from room cleaners to restaurant staff to reception. Our room had a private pool which was a real bonus. Lovely restaurant with lovely food. A couple of nice local restaurants to try. Local beach is very convenient but very busy and the sand isn`t the best. Overall we had a great stay in a lovely hotel.

The hotel was very nice and the service was great. Special thanks to Efi,Yiannis,Dimitri,Kostantnos and chef Panagiotis for accommodating and fulfilling our wishes. The staff were there to please us. The location was very convenient to reach any part of the island. There was no problem with planes landing near by and didn’t bother us at all. We stayed a whole week and enjoyed every minute.

First time visiting Kefalonia and the Electra hotel and staff were amazing! Such lovely and welcoming people. The hotel is around 10min drive away from the airport with stunning views of the sea and sunset. The hotel staff were very accommodating, friendly and always smiling. We had the private pool room which was spacious and great for tanning. Food options for lunch and dinner were also great and always satisfying. Would definitely recommend the hotel and will be back for sure.

We enjoyed to stay at Electra. It was a best choice! We’ve got a executive suite with private pool. The sea view is perfect to watch the sunset. The airport doesn’t bothered us, we traveled in may, and I can remember 3-4 planes daily. Good choice of freshly prepared foods!. The spa area is beautiful located lower ground. Deserves the 5 Star!

I cannot fault the team at Electra. They were outstanding in all aspects of their roles. The hotel is lovely, peaceful, picturesque and the facilities are brilliant. The service at Electra was outstanding. The team went out of their way to help and nothing was too much trouble. The sea views are mesmerising, beautiful coastline and the sunsets are breathtaking. I could not fault the standards of cleanliness. The rooms are (especially with private pool) well set out, comfortable and have all you could possibly need. I would highly recommend a stay at Electra for the service, amenities, aspect and the warm welcoming team. I’m particular the front of house staff were the friendliest and most helpful people you could wish to meet. That added to the photogenic placement of Electra makes this a fabulous place to stay and explore the beautiful island of Kefalonia - and its people.

Lovely time

the hotel is lovely. i like it that it has small number of guests, so it make it more cosy. as there are private pools there, then the main pool isn’t that busy, so i really liked it. the staff was great. Marianela from the bar was amazing. young lad who was serving us for breakfast was friendly too. the same was gor the lad called Captain. the room was spacious and had so many storage areas that was great. what was missing in our room was the drying clothes rack in the balcony. apart from that i really liked the room. bed was so comfy. wish the gym was bigger with a smith machine, but you can’t have everything 😉 at least there were dumbbells 👍 thanks again. regarding spa area, there was a lovely girl working (unfortunately i don’t remember the name) in the morning when we arrived and she explained to me all the treatments. the treatments sounded great, but the prices are very high tho. breakfast food was lovely!

The hotel room 210 was exceptional and very spacious! Was a little shocked when I first saw the airplane flying so close by the window though! But they stop by midnight and start again at 9am so we’re not a bother. Pool was wonderful and not many use it as they tend to travel round the island by car all day! So it felt like a private pool. Best thing was the hotel staff who went above and beyond with their service and friendliness. Dimitra was fantastic and such a lovely waitress. I forgot my phone in my room one evening and she offered to go and get it for me so I could take a photo of the sunset ! Such a sweet girl! The chef was excellent and made delicious meals so much so that we chose to eat at the hotel most evenings as no other restaurant could match his food! He even personalised his menu for my vegan daughter every day! Cannot fault this hotel in any way and would go again in a heartbeat! But please avoid if you don’t want to be on a flight path! Wonderful Electra!

Electra Kefalonia is an exceptional hotel. You would get everything expected from a 5 star hotel especially staff & service which made this place unique. We felt welcomed the second we got out of the car with Cosmo helping us with the luggages and showing us our room. George at reception offered us welcome drinks and helping with the check in as well as personalised plans with our trip. Yianna took care of us at the restaurant with her attention to details and dedication. Effie at the front desk worked magic and assisted us securing a boat hire last minute. Absolutely flawless and fantastic service! We had the 2 storey suite which was luxurious, spacious and clean. Amenities were replenished daily and the house keeping team deserved a gold star keeping our room nice and tidy everyday. We didn't really have problem with the plane flying over. It was only brief seconds and mostly were smaller planes. It's not like having jumbo 747 landing on this small airport. We stayed in for a day enjoying the pool and facilities. I could only remember 5 planes flying over for the whole day. Actually it added to the experience as my daughter took some stunning photos with the plane and sunset. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was to return to Kefalonia and recommend anyone who is considering travelling there.
