Wow this hotel is so impressive on every level. The hospitality at its finest. The staff went out of their way during my check in, the bed was super comfortable, the room clean. We were looking for a place to relax. The hotel was very quiet, the staff always available/helpful and the Onden very relaxing. I used it twice and was all alone which was wonderful. The only concern was getting used to having no top sheet. Not bad but unusual.

Location is about 15 mins drive away from Portland downtown when traffic is light. This hotel is new, clean and modern. Room is specious. Bathrooms also great, modern and big bathtub with separate shower area. It’s very quiet at night and safe environment. It has nice Japanese style Zen like garden where you can relax on the 1st floor. There is a shop as well for bottled drinks, amenities you forgot to pack and some Japanese snacks and items. We did I not have a chance to use restaurant on site. There is an onsen-bath on 1st floor. I enjoyed my bath time in a deep tab in my room. Sam at the reception is an excellent, smooth check in. We will definitely be back here, our next visit to Portland.
