The location can't be beat. The hotel is kind of dated, but you don't have many options in these parts. The room was clean and the restaurant onsite was nice. It is a short 10 min walk to Plitvice entrance #2. The crowds are no joke...people everywhere. I would recommend off season for sure.

We wanted to be close so we could get an early start to see the waterfalls and lower lakes. The staff was so helpful in helping us plan our stay and get everything done. The staff and location made the stay enjoyable. The hotel is pretty basic but offered all that was need. The staff did a great job at check-in and helped us with tickets to the lakes upon arrival rather than waiting a day - weather was bad for the day we had booked.

Close to the park entry

A fabulous location close to the park entry which was fabulous to be able to leave the car in the car park and walk 100m to buy tickets and head down to the boat. It is a very large hotel and is easy yo locate and drive into off the main road. Our room was comfortable and clean. It was a little noisy when other patrons used their shower/baths. In room 214A the plumbing was quite noisy. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the cooked food was tasty. It was nice to complete the walk and be in a warm, comfortable room within 100m.

This is a basic place to stay. The staff was wonderful. There were a few problems with the coffee and drink dispensers at breakfast. To fully experience the park, I would recommend staying at a local hotel and doing a two day visit to the park which can be done with a 1 night stay.
