The room and building is exactly as described and fulfilled what we needed. The room and bathroom were clean and well stocked. The common area and bathrooms were cleaned daily. A great choice if you are comfortable with minimalism and prioritize proximity to stores and events rather than amenities. Security is comforting.

Loved the apartment - would stay again

Great location downtown; perfect for sightseeing on foot. I felt safe as a solo female traveller. Excellent communication from property management - speedy and helpful when i had a question or repair. Well eqipped kitchen; also iron, hairdryer provided. Extremely comfortable bed - i slept brilliantly. Light sleepers should note there is some noise from the street/buses passing below.

The property was in a desirable location. The only issues were the loudness of The air conditioning unit for sleeping purposes and the softness of the mattress. Otherwise it served my needs quite well!

Perfect location next to Boston Common. The room was spacious and clean, as were the communal bathrooms. The building itself looked tired in places (e.g. peeling wallpaper) but the location more than made up for it.

This place is in an amazing location, very quiet, close to everything. We were there when the temperature was cooler than normal, the portable air con ran and kept most of the place comfortable. The bedroom needs an easy to do ceiling fan to circulate air, was our only recommendation. Place could be much warmer when summer hits. Highly recommended.

Great location. Not great bathrooms.

The location was perfect. Right across from the commons. Right in the middle of all the freedom trail stops. The room itself was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the shared bathrooms. There's some rusty spots, peeling wallpaper and they smelled very humid and musty. The fan in the closest bathroom was not working. You have to share with other people who might not wipe stuff down. So there was hairballs on the floor and loogies in the sink. So yeah...I spent as little time as possible in there. The only thing that makes this doable is that there are a couple bathrooms on the floor. So I suppose you can look for the cleanest one. But overall...if you are gonna spend most of your day out...this was a great location for a great price.

Good location. Responsive owner. Room is musty and the AC unit was very noisy. The bed is old. Bathrooms were very clean. Affordable. With upgrades fo the room it had a lot of potential.

I really liked this place. Super central location. Easy walk to South Station, Beacon Hill and most other things. I walked back from Seaport. The bldg is a bit dated but that didn’t bother me. The locks to get onto each floor added a level of security. I stayed in the bunk bed room to have a private bathroom and it was fine. Plenty of space (no view from windows, but I didn’t care. Plenty of restaurants within 5 minute walk. Easy check-in and great communication. And priority for me was cost, and it was a great value. Will stay again when I’m back in Boston
