Family stay at Villa Fontaine Ariake
Over all our stay was excellent. I actually chose it even if it was a commute from downtown Tokyo because of the Onsen.Unfortunately we never got to use it first we have to pay and second we are always out.

Roomy and convenient
Location is convenient to a mall that is attached to the hotel. Offers transport from Haneda airport to hotel. Does not offer room service/food. The restaurant attached is buffet style. Walk @ .7 mile to train station

Great hotel. Next to Ariake Gardens (Lots of shopping and restaurants) But not close to major train hub. There are shuttle bus service too.

Great hotel. Great room. Great facilities. Only issue is hotel is not the greatest for other things outside of hotel. Things are walkable but not too walkable. Edit: Your lady in the front said that tattoos were acceptable in your bath only to be turned away. Please make sure all information about tattoos are correct before giving information.

This is a great example of location being important. They live off their location and have sacrificed on other things. Nothing horrible, but so many better places to stay in Tokyo. They were also the only place in Japan where the service was not excellent.

Love this hotel
We love this hotel. This is the second time we stayed. Everything was excellent. Our children love it the most. Connected to a mall with lots of restaurants, fun shops, arcade. Great spa and onsen, good buffet, free airport shuttle service, close to train station, and well-staffed. The only con was the type of room we want wasn't available (4 single bed). The alt room (2 single, 2 tatami mats) was cute but we are not used to sleeping on hard floor so it was very uncomfortable.

I love the covered area for taxi pickup. It was very convenient to wait for a car during bad weather. Also enjoyed that it was directly connected to a nice shopping mall.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, who took the initiative to help me through the checkin and checkout. Location is quite close to the stations and just next to the shopping mall and the theatre. Hotel room is spacious in Tokyo standard, but personally I think more space could be allocated to the bathroom. The window is not utilising the whole wall area but I believe this is again Tokyo standard. My booking includes the hotspring ticket, and the hotspring is top quality for a hotel. Overall a very good, tidy and clean hotel.

This property is 5 minutes away from Ariake station. Floor 6 will connect you to the mall. The staff is friendly. I would stay again.

Liked newer Ariake area. Limited dining options nearby but plenty of convenience store food options nearby. The beds are far too hard. Need downy comforters on top of matteesses and need to have more than one pillow. The laundry facilities and options and info on your room tv were quite good.

Large, impersonal hotel with small rooms and very average restaurant. It is a short stay type hotel so they do not feel the need to change the menu at all. Half the dishes are the same for breakfast and dinner. The major problem is staff. They seem to have very few employees that have even a minimal command of English language even in reception or in the restaurant. We had difficulties even using Google translate. No French or Spanish either. Simple processes like paying for a room upgrade needed the involvement of three reception staff on two different occasions. Ok if you are in transit….otherwise I would not bother

The area is very quiet, with easy access to public transportation and to the airport. The rate I was given during my stay compared to similar hotels around the area was more affordable, and they offered many basic amenities including laundry and pajamas. I feel the major downside is that for more seasoned travelers who know their way around Tokyo, there may be better locations out there to choose as your base. For example, out of all the locations I visited in Tokyo I came to really like Akihabara, so for my next visit I may book a hotel in that area instead. Otherwise I like this location for its proximity to the Big Sight and attending events there. Its a great option for first time travelers who don't want to be overwhelmed by crowds.

Not Quite as Good the Second Time
This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The rooms aren’t very spacious but the location itself is what keeps me coming back. The room this time wasn’t quite as clean as the first time I stayed here. The pillows caused both I and my girlfriend to have terrible neck/shoulder pain. The bathroom had a nasty smell and the shower temperature kept fluctuating from scalding hot to freezing cold mid-shower. The room itself was a little too close to the elevator and the window curtains wouldn’t close all the way. If you’re a late sleeper, these things would make it impossible to stay in bed past 8:30. The front desk staff was courteous whenever we initiated contact with them, but when their auto check-in machines were giving us problems, there was no help to be found. Not sure if I’ll be back here a third time when I return to Tokyo.
