The place was close to the town centre, easily accessible, parts of the room was very dusty and moulds found in parts of the bathroom. I loved their food. In need of an overhaul. Very pleasant staff throughout. Room had stains on the carpets, and cigarette burns . Bathroom clean but tired. Shower gel dispenser just seemed to have water in it. Room very warm, window only opened slightly. Fan supplied but extremely loud. The area is beside the university, while my car lasted the night parked nearby, I wasn’t confident it was going to still be there in the morning. I was only passing through so it was ok, but very hard to recommend.

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel very central and good value for money. Decor a bit dated and hotel needs a bit of a refresh but was clean and staff helpful. Would certainly stay again.

We was asked for photo id when checking in even though they hadn't stated that when i booked the stay the receptionist wasn't helpful telling us we couldn't stay there until i got them to speak to the manager eventually they gave us the keys but the rooms were not very nice there was nails hanging out the wall the wardrobe had a door missing and the flooring in the bathroom was peeling away. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here

Shocking hotel

Dated, old and tired hotel. Needs an urgent update or closing down. Defo not worth the money I paid to stay. No onsite parking and the car park near by, well park your car at your own risk .

Never got to stay there. Still need a refund. I came fro. Surrey. They rused me entry for no good reason. The place was filthy in reception . I had ID. However a man turned up signed in without any ID but they let him stop. Someone complained about lighting and hot water while i was in reception. The staff were rude and awful.

A good bet if you're not too fussy, and convenient

It's in central Coventry, with the cathedral and shops a few minutes walk away, and the Transport Museum over the road. It's also right next to the main bus station (which connects to the trains, which connect to the planes...). Condition-wise, I've always thought that this Britannia betters its Birmingham counterpart, and this still seems to be the case. Everything in my room worked, it was reasonably clean, but things like wallcoverings, bathroom grout and carpet had all seen better days. Sleep comfort was quite good, though in this warm spell the room was a little stuffy and being quite central there is always going to be some traffic noise. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel if you're not too fussy about the decor - it's public transport friendly, and fair value.

Very dated inside. Felt very safe due to security guards at front of hotel on Saturday night. There was an incident when I arived. Area around hotel was 'rough'.

£15 early check in is a bit steep

Arrived early but early check in was £15 so we just left the bags with them and went out. Request for a room with a bath was met, which was wonderful. Toilet was seperste to bathroom which was strange but both were clean and the bed comfortable.
