There were cockroaches in the bathroom, T.V. did not work for the first three days. Front desk people were not friendly at all, the hotel is very cute but it needs sooooo much updates.

It is right in the middle of all the action going on in that area. This is not a quiet hotel, but earplugs muted most of it.

8/10 Very good

Great location, great price but very noisy.
Power went out for a few hours. I failed to notice that the room didn’t have ac but it did have a fan thankfully. The bell men were very helpful got us a taxi and walked us to him. It was very noisey at night could be because of what they were setting up in the zocalo. Shower was difficult to use after the water gets all over the floor. The price was good.
Luz, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great location hard to park, a lot of traffic around since it is in the heart of downtown , there is a parking lote around the corner kind of expensive there are more less expensive parking if you drive couple of block from that parking lote. Once you get parking it is great location, walkable
Jesus, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

For the area the price is very affordable, it needs a little remodeling in the bathrooms but it is very clean and comfortable.
Arturo, 1-night trip

The Majestic retains the colonial charm I love!
I hadn't been back here in a number of years but it was always my go-to hotel in Mexico City. I always loved staying here because it's location is prime and the restaurant overlooking the zocalo is still one of my favorites in the area. We were on the 5th floor and the internet was not all it should have been. We could always get access down in the lobby but they need to do some work done to get a stronger internet signal thoughout the hotel. The staff is very helpful, there's a coffee machine in the room which I always love seeing but bring your own creamer. Luckily right next door is a great little coffee and pastry shop which is easily accessed starting at 7am. The Best Western Majestic remains a little colonial gem, with a boutique hotel feel, centrally located and very economical. If you can, try to get a room with a window facing out to the zocalo or to the andador (a bit noisier but worth it) you'll be happy you did. No, this is not a hotel with rooms that look like every hotel in the states, if you want that go elsewhere..The Majestic has the charm and colonial touches that help you feel like you're in a comfortable home while traveling.

The place is beautiful but is ashamed that they haven’t updated this place the furniture from the rom is al old and dirty the towels and sheets looks gray instead of white.
