Reviews

10/10 Excellent

The place was nice and quiet and the kids love the water park.
DARRELL, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Our stay was very relaxing and quiet! They provide multiple coupons at the front desk for things to do around town. The hotel is very close to downtown, we didn’t have to drive for anything except to cross the bridge!
Kalena, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Waterpark was fun
Victor, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

It's dated, but clean and a good value. Located directly across the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island, it was the perfect place to stay after our day trip to the island.
Emillie, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Like the location and dinning options. This hotel is outdated, has a smell, rooms are not clean and staff is not very friendly. I wouldn't come back to this place.

Héctor, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

Poorly maintained, not very clean, easy check in and good staff
faisal, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

Property needs a lot of work. Low key maze to the “water park.” Spiders the size of silver dollars. Fire alarm went off from a hot shower. At $350 a night, you’d expect more. Staff was lovely.
Ashley, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

No free breakfast
Ayden, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

Nice employees. Overall cleanliness needs improvement.
Janet, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

There was no continental breakfast but coupons offered instead. With the price of rooms you would think this would be included. At check-in the employee used inappropriate langue while talking to another employee that was in the back. At check-out time people were smoking marijuana outside the door smelling up the lobby.
Matthew, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Really nice hotel with a waterpark attached! The fridge didnt work worth a crap and we jad to throw out A LOT of food. Other than that, it was perfect and within walking distance.
Adrienne, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The in room hot tub was large and just great!
Susan, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

They didn’t provide really much of anything everything was broken teeny tiny TV no tissues two small rolls of toilet paper with barely anything left on them. The air conditioner is so loud and noisy. Really need some improvement there.
Rebeka, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

We called the desk and had maintenance up a few times because we didn’t have hot water in the shower. It didn’t get fixed so we had to check out and go about our day with no shower. The desk clerk gave a number for the manager who neither answered my call nor had voicemail.
Erin, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Well woke up to a bunch of construction and my sheets were dirty and the pool didn't even open til noon or the water park and the lake view we paid for wasn't a very good view and there coffee they put in your rooms were gross. They wouldn't give us any more pillows or creamer for the coffee our phone didn't even have cords. And there was a funky smell through the whole hotel
Kalie, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Everything could have been cleaner and nothing in the room worked when we first got there.
Robert, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The game room has pinball.
Gregory, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

You get what you pay for. When we checked in, there were no night shift workers and had to check in for our room down the road at another hotel. This is way better than the Crown Plaza though! Everything was clean. Just felt sketchy at night with no workers in the building.
Dakota, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Clean and close to shopping
Michael T, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Cenedra, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Richard, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Very nice stay. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
Patricia, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great location!
Steven, 2-night trip

2/10 Terrible

The front desk immediately upon entering seemed annoyed with our very presence, as if us trying to check in was disturbing them. The room had dried vomit on the floor and up the wall next to the garbage, the housekeepers didn’t have proper supplies (towels) to accommodate our two day stay and we were supplied with less than a roll of toilet paper (again no re-supply readily available). The second floor ice machine was leaking through the ceiling dripping on your head as you walked past on the first floor. The whole carpet was soggy and it is likely that in the very near future someone or something will fall through the floor, or you will get electrocuted trying to use the vending machine while standing in a puddle. The game room, three stories high, had a window open without a screen that a toddler or small child could try to climb through (right at ground level). The ac unit in our room also leaked so the carpet was drenched, so gross. The largest amount of money I have wasted on a hotel room. I recommend this hotel look at hiring friendlier staff that actually want to work with customers, and a maintenance person ASAP because they have some large safety concerns on their hands.
