The sheets smelled like they hadn’t been washed in a long time. There was also dried chip paint on the window sill of the kitchen area of the suite. Seemed like the room hadn’t been used or cleaned in a while. We didn’t sleep there, checked out before 11:00pm

The lobby and the outside property were clean and nicely furnished. When we walked into the room, it smelled like mold and musty. It smelled like there was a leak in the room that had not dried yet. It turns out the window frame leaks when it rains and wets all of the a/c and floor around it and near the bed.

Convenient Hotel Needing Attention

Elevator was broken. Room door was physcially hard to open. It needed to be shimmed. I had to shove it open with my shoulder. There was mildew in the shower, and water damage on the lobby ceiling. The AC was cold and worked well. The bed sheets were clean. All the lights worked in the room. We didn't use the TV so i am unsure if it worked. The electrical outets worked also. The room came with a mini-fridge which worked. We didn't use the coffee pot or clothes iron. The contienetal breakfast was lackluster. I am unsure if this was because we showed up 30 minutes before it closed (this could be the case.). In any case, you're staying in Kingsville and are less than 5 minutes from foos on 14th St. The hotel serves it's purpose if you only need a place to crash for a day or two, but it needs maintenace attention to live up to it's name.
