5 star hotel , but you have to pay to pay to use the pool and our room was not turned down even though we stayed for 2 nights so had to reuse towels, etc. reception said I should of requested the service.. but at a 5 star hotel I shouldn’t have to think about this- it’s expected! The hotel is beautiful and clean and our room was amazing. Fabulous location too

Everything about this property was very good. The breakfast was ample and had a lot of different options. The staff was friendly and courteous. I felt we were treated very well while we stayed there. The room was clean and very comfortable and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and large. More like a king size bed than a delux double. Everything is within an easy walking distance. Grand hotel in a good location for all Berat's attractions. Our room was very big with a fine view overlooking the castle. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Yes, some of the hot dishes were in fact luke-warm, but that didn't matter to us. Curiously, our room was serviced on the second day of our stay, but it didn't stretch to making the bed!

Nice hotel to stay when you are in Berat. The breakfast is good, the rooms offer space for your belongings. Our safe did not work. Overall, the staff was very introvert, outside areas are rather simple, maybe not what you expect in an Albanian 5 star hotel. In case we come back to Berat we would stay there again. Parking was easy and safe.
