We needed a place to stay that offered little to no pet fee, as there was a cat to consider. The A/C in our home went out and with FL weather being in record highs, we didn't want to spend another hot evening there. This Red Rood Inn gave us comfy beds and a cool room, which is what we needed. There were some miscellanous stains on the ceiling, some pieces of what appeared to be breaded chicken skin on the curtains and bathroom door (small pieces but still), and the TV was severely outdated... but overall, we were content and comfortable. We had a microwave, mini fridge, clean sheets/towels, and a BRIGHT, camera-filled parking lot to make us feel secure. I will be honest, the area of this inn can be considered sketchy. Despite being close to the FL mall and eatery plazas, OBT is known by locals for "ladies of the night" and criminal activity. We didn't see or experience any, thankfully... but something worth mentioning for out-of-towners.
