From good to great!
The room was lovely, spacious and quiet. Hotel location was a nice change from downtown. But the restaurant was exceptionally great! I didn't have high expectations for dinner at a hotel restaurant but both our pan-fried haddock and salmon were absolutely delicious, plentiful and beautifully prepared. Breakfast in the morning, though somewhat similar to typical hotel breakfasts, was elevated with superior choices and expert preparation, making it much better than the norm. Finally, the coffee machine in the lobby was wonderful. (Did I just write that?) I can't believe that I could have my morning cortado from a machine and it tasted great. Bravo!

Lovers at chocolate lake
It was a nice room. Obviously it's an older hotel, but it's very well kept. The heating / AC could have been a little more powerful. But other than that we had an amazing time. And the buffet breakfast was 100% worth it.
