Check-in was smooth and quick, which we appreciated after a long flight. However, when we got to our room, we noticed it was quite dusty. The space was also extremely tight which we understand is typical for Japan, but still worth noting.
One major inconvenience was the laundry situation. For a hotel with 17 floors, having only two washers and two dryers just isn’t enough. The wait times were long, with guests lining up, giving each other attitude, and even getting into arguments (we witnessed one in Chinese). It made doing laundry unnecessarily stressful.
We also noticed that a couple of the front desk staff looked visibly unhappy, which didn’t create the most welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, the stay wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t meet our expectations either. The best part of the hotel was its great location, very central and convenient for getting around.
