It is close the subway station. It is convenient to live in the area. However, there isn't elevator in the hostel. The beds are not stable.

those staffs are quite friendly and ethical, and i met a few great roommates too, they all nice and polite. it would be better if there’s no cockroaches and ants in the middle of the night.

Room had roaches. I stayed in a shared room that had a permanent resident with stuff all over the room including dirty clothes and open food containers on one of the other beds.

If you really need to stay locally it may be okay

This was an airport stop over, so pleased we only spent 5 hours there. It felt like it needed doing up drastically and a good deep clean needed. The guy on the front desk was lovely though and went above and beyond what we expected

Michael, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I was very satisfied with this hostel. The room was not very clean, noisy air conditioner, weak water pressure shower. I know a lot of people won’t like it. But I like here feeling like a secret base. And it’s 30 minutes to Manhattan.
Yuta, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

They gave us the wrong code to open the door. We had arrived at 7pm and it was already unstaffed for the day. It took 2 hours before it was resolved. Most of the guests of the hotel are prostitutes with their clients, bringing in a new guy every 30 minutes.
Jordan, 2-night trip

Noisy room

Late check in was no problem but room was noisy and not clean.
Makoto, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I feel unsafe and couldn’t sleep at night. Six people in one room and someone was coughing all night. So disgusting.

Stay away

Hostel was absolutely filthy. It's supposed to be no smoking, but the bottom floor smelled like an ashtray (this gets better the further up you go). Bedsheets are filled with small holes from where bugs have eaten through. Showers are covered in mold, insects everywhere. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.
Trevor, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Bed was comfortable enough, shower was fine, location was close to a subway stop. Other than that... No elevator (heavy luggage would be an issue), no kitchen or utensils, windows didn't open. AC was provided, but there was nowhere to plug in both it and my travel adapter. Staff didn't seem to speak English.
Dean, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

It was really dirty room. Also on the entrance there was a guilty man picture. 3 months ago he was in the hotel around and he tried to come in and stolen something. It was really dangerous. And near to hospital because of that you can’t sleep always there are ambulance around. Terrible hotel. One more thing when we leaving we saw cockroach.
