The apartment was large with everything you would need for a comfortable stay, and the staff were friendly and very helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is directly opposite the castle and is a great location for exploring the Alfama area and lots of tourist attractions. However, the street is very noisy and as the windows are not sound proofed it is quite loud until about midnight. Our bed was also broken and had been put back together with a temporary fix, this meant it was not particularly comfortable to sleep on.

What an amazing location in Alfama, steps from the Castello, but easy to walk to the major sites along the river. Mafalda the back door manager gave us perfect directions from the airport. The apartment was perfe t for the two of us. We stayed three nights, but 2 more would have been better . We woukd definitely stay again

Very convenient having friendly and delicious restaurant & smaller tavern across the road also run by Barrio Conquistador- and my friend in the souvenir shop (maybe not appropriate to name?) was very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location and great service. They held my bags before check in which is exceptional . Doesn’t have AC but never felt hot. The fan worked perfectly. Only inconvenience was to wait until 11:20pm for the restaurant workers below to stop yapping after work and leave so I could go to sleep. Can’t really close the windows because no AC.

If you love being in the heart of a historic neighborhood, you can't beat these apartments that literally face the walls of Castelo de São Jorge. With restaurants for breakfast, dinner, and tapas and charming gift shops all steps away, it has everything you could need close at hand. And the apartment itself couldn't have been more comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Our apartment at Casas do Bairro Conqvistador served as an excellent basecamp for exploring Lisbon. The location near St. Jorge's castle is simply incredible -- still remembering listening to the peacocks at night. Bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room are well appointed, clean and comfortable. Great restaurant downstairs for dinner and nearby cafe for breakfast. Top notch.

Check in process is very restrictive and confusing. If your plane is late you need to find somewhere else to stay. Restaurant staff where you collect the key weren’t very helpful. Needed cash for the tax and to use their expensive ATM to get it. Waiter was rude. Hot and no a/c.

This place was good, check in was easy and convenient. Place had lots of windows from each side which brought in a nice air blow. My only negative for this is location. It in in the hills and hard to get directly into location with taxi or bolts which meant a lot of walking and sweating for summer time. And the apartment was a little small for 3 adults.

Prior to the check in I send numerous messages to the person who is supposed to be available..No response at all. Tried calling..also nothing. I arrived without any idea if I can check in there. There is no reception..the keys are given by the nearby store, but cant imagine what you do when they are closed. The place is great, but it is SUPER NOISY. There is a restaurant below the building which closes late. The apartments are ok.. but quite basic..

The apartment is not comfortable was very cold. The people were great and we ate at cafe and the restaurants they own and they were great! Shower leaked, bed uncomfortable and very cold, and room super small.
