The hotel is old and historic. It's in a great place for a downtown San Antonio visit. We stayed several days and found it to be perfect for exploring the city. the hotel is located in a great spot, north east of the alamo, so around the mall, walkable to restaurants and bars/social areas on the riverwalk. the valet was $45/night, which is a little steep if you consider that the hotel is older and more of a landmark than luxury.

Valet parking $48.
We have been coming to this hotels for a while now. Location is good and close to the mall and Alamo but the valet is way too expensive. Its $48 a night which with tip, its way more than I have ever had to pay for a parking. I won't be returning because of this. Other than that, everything was great.
