Customer Service was top notch. Rooms, for the price, were underwhelming. 206 have a very loose toilet and pex plumbing in the shower made the bath spout very flimsy. Room 205, my other room rented, had same issues. Both balconies need reinforcing or redone. Squishy spots. No elevators to the 2nd floor. Charged a 5% Tourist fee. Lol State tax and hazardous material fee. Lol Overall, decent stay. Comfortable and spacious room. Holiday Inn pricing at Super 8 luxury

The hotel was ok, it looks like the room had new paint, carpet and tile. The price was good. The hotel doesn't have anything in the way of amenities. We only stayed 1 night but the bed was comfortable and all we needed was a place to sleep.

Non-smoking rooms smelled of cigarettes, including finding cigarette butts in our room under the bed. Older place with wore down accommodations, broken chairs, stain on sheet, ceiling tiles in bathroom were falling down. Ice machine was shut off during a hot weekend. Being on the river was convenient.

The property is on the river which was nice. Front desk was very professional and friendly. The room however wasn’t very clean. Very dusty, and stains on walls and old floorboards. Shower and tub were old and stained as well. We made the best of it anyway since we weren’t in the room except to sleep mostly.

Came into town for the funeral services of a good friend. The price/location was the reason I booked the room. I was not expecting the place to be as clean and comfortable as it was. Beds were surprisingly very comfortable, rooms were super clean, provides you with very good place to sleep. While it’s not a large chain hotel, it provides everything needed when visiting the Cheboygan area. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of places nearby to get things including food, amenities etc.what really sold me on this location was the views right on the water that you wake up too. I’m pretty sure every room has waterfront views. If you like fishing, there are places right off the docks to fish for smallmouth bass and rock bass.

Spacious and Clean. Close to Groceries

Easy to get to and easy access to several of the M roads. My room was clean and had a nice balcony looking over the waterway. Water pressure isn't the best but the hot water was plentiful. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The hotel is currently undergoing work/updates, but no work was done while I was there to disturb rest. Unsure if pets are allowed but someone did have their dog locked in their car late at night. The desk does close at 9:00 pm so make sure you check in by then or that you have made arrangements with the owner. Conveniently extremely near a Wal-Green's, a Wal-Mart and a regional grocer (with fantastic deals) so replenishing food and other supplies was easy.

Be aware that they only have someone available to us to help you from 9 AM to 9 PM. Our toilet was always on the verge of overflowing. The bed was lumpy squishy and way too soft maybe one of those Early renditions of memory foam mattresses. Clock radio flashed and incorrect time all night and we couldn’t seem to change it to the correct time. It had a beautiful balcony overlooking the river. The room was clean and the TV had at least one movie station without commercials.And friendly staff.
