The Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg is in every way a magnificent hotel. The staff were second to none in their efforts to make their guests feel at home. For example, I had a small technical problem with the TV. A quick explanation from reception and it was fine. They followed up with me shortly after, not by phone to the room. They personally came to my room on the sixth floor. A truely brilliant hotel

Rooms were nice and large but are in need of modernisation. Breakfast was good but at around £20 a day it was too expensive. No tea or coffee in the room and also no irons.

Front desk manager insulting

I always stay at the Maritim when over for business , this time I was staying for 4weeks and was made to feel like a criminal by the front desk manger Luke’s Dobbelstien he was rude and actually took unauthorised payment from my account without any formal discussion , made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable as other guest stood by His attitude towards me was rude and disrespectful and showed zero customer service level of any kind , He also chatters away in German to his receptionist who then looked uncomfortable

Auf Wiedersehen!

Sehr unfreundliches und sogar arrogantes Team an der Rezeption. Es war nicht möglich eine Komplettrechung auszustellen, „da ja schon über das Buchungsportal bezahlt wurde“! War in den letzten 5 Jahren sehr oft dort, das war imme kein Problem. Aber die Arroganz war schon selten, wer ist der Gast?? Hotel sieht mich nicht mehr!

Flott hotell. Fin beliggenhet. Godt rom og senger. Det var en stor fest som beslagla mesteparten av hotellet (100 vis av berusede mennesker). Det var vi ikke varslet om på forhånd. Vi var ikke så plaget av det, hadde rom langt unna, men dette gjorde jo at hotellets fasiliteter ikke var tilgjengelig for oss. Det er ikke bra at de arrangerer slikt uten å varsle/gi prisavslag ved at fasiliteter ikke r tilgjengelig.

Hotel muy bien situado y parking propio.

Habitacion amplia, bien insonorizada, buena mesa para poder trabajar y servicio de cafe/te, con minibar disponible y muy bien iluminda Baño completo, con bañera. Piscina cubierta con sauna. Desayuno excelente muy completo y variado. Estas cerca de dos centros comerciales y restaurantes cercanos. Parking propio, algo caro. El hotel tiene sus añitos y aunque se conserva bien, se nota el paso de los años.
