A wonderful place

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and you can’t beat the location!! I was unexpectedly able to check-in early when I arrived, which was awesome. They let guests store luggage if you arrive before check-in and after you checkout- it’s so great! Friendly staff, too. I’d definitely stay there again next time I’m in Chicago.

We always have a wonderful trip to Chicago. When we stay at the Congress. It's centrally located and easily accessible to most eateries and local attractions. The staff are always very attentive and willing. We truly enjoy our stays.

The good location saves this place's rating, but it's no surprise; it's basically the oldest hotel in Chicago. I recommend it for 1 or 2 nights to explore the city. Unfortunately, it's not really suitable for a longer stay. And there are no ghosts ;-)

Pricier than it should be, very old, not well kept

The hotel is quite old and many parts of it are not well maintained. There is a beautiful lobby area. The room I was in was not well kept and also let in a lot of draught.
