Wonderful Hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gastof Post! As a family of 5 (2 adults travelling with 3 teenagers) it is not easy to find accommodations where we can all be together, but our room was perfect! While not directly in the walled part of town, it isn’t even 10 minutes walk to get there, and it kept us out of some of the hustle and bustle. There is a lovely restaurant as well attached to the hotel. If you have mobility concerns, it may not be the best option, as there is no elevator, but that fact was well advertised so we knew ahead of time that we would be climbing stairs, and that wasn’t a problem for us. Very clean, HUGE bathroom in room 33. An excellent and affordable option!

The room was VERY basic. Extremely small, especially the bathroom, you had to back in. There was a terrible smell from the bathroom when we first arrived, which was rectified but the smell appeared again our last morning.

The room is basic with ancient tiny tv and water stained ceiling. The problem generally is that it is noisy. You hear every car. Birds chirp at 4am on. The floor creaks. They were doing road work outside. They put me in between the creaky staircase and some room that they had some machine connected to. They started screwing around in it at 8am. Needless to say i dont feel like rewarding them giving me such an insultingly bad room. The thin curtains let in light. Almost worthless. The shower was tiny and the nozzle was half clogged. The maids started making noise early. Close to city but you wont get much sleep here.

Fint hotell med mysig miljö, fina uteplatser. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Fina rena rum. Bra frukost. Restaurang finns med god mat och goda drinkar om man vill ha det. Läget perfekt. 10 minuters promenad till centrum. Återkommer gärna hit igen.
