Everything was good the reception desk very helpful. Dinner was terrible.
Grace, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We booked this very last minute and got the last room! It was advertised as small and delivered. Beggars cant be choosers but it was clean and comfortable. The car park is small so unless you're there early its one of the many privately owned car parks in the town and harbour. Beware of the time limits and restrictions. Hotel has a lovely outside seating area in the late afternoon sunshine. Didn't have diner at the hotel but breakfast was buffet style with an excellent choice for all the fussy eaters. We would stay here again.
Nigel, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Great location and facilities. Only negative was noise coming from a TV in the room next door.
Elizabeth, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Lovely place but the rooms were very small
David, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

We had a room with a balcony overlooking the coast, and the view was lovely. Wi-fi was not available during our stay. The bathroom window wouldn`t open and we couldn`t get the shower gel and soap dispensers to work. The bed was very comfortable. Car parking spaces are limited- we managed to get the last one. Some of the seats were missing as they had gone to be repaired.
Edwin, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Car parking was atrocious. I am disabled and it was difficult to park the car. Hotel car park too small and nearby car park should be used via an arrangement with the local council. We should have been told that blue badge parking was always free in that car park.
Mary, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great location, lovely room, great bedding and towels. We were on the first floor of Coble Cottage, adjacent to the Inn. Bathroom layout was ok but a bit more thought could have improved it by having a longer shower tray (the full length of the wall), the toilet next to it and the hand basin at the door end (the door was at an angle which made the toilet feel cramped). Reasonable breakfast choice but would have liked a broader range of fresh fruit - only apple chunks and pineapple chunks to have with the yoghurt. Good cooked selection, various breads for toasting, mini croissants and pain au chocolat. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.
Pauline, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained. There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection. There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay £10.80 per day at a nearby car park.
Robert, 3-night trip

Lovely quaint pub, food was excellent and the area lovely.
Faye, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Excellent stay . Amazing staff. Great food. Very relaxed. Our only problem was our room temperature which could’ve been warmer. But we will definitely staying again.
What a view from our room

Great hotel

Excellent stay ,good food and service
Paul, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

I was given a room with a terrible aspect-on the edge of the car park. If I had been staying longer I would have refused to stay in it. The food n the evening was good and delivered promptly, but could have been better at breakfast-a fruit salad with nay apple is hardly a salad. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful
Jenny, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Everyone was so friendly
Morton James, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The room was great newly refurbished, view spectacular. Bar menu very average food average staff ok but some could do with a bit of customer service training my husband plate was removed before I’d finished, minor points like that. On the other hand check in very pleasant and a handyman offered to take my case to my room unprompted
Pauline, 1-night trip

Great stay

The Bamburgh Castle Inn was a very nice place to stay. It is conveniently located right at the boat docks should you be taking a tour. Clean, comfortable and convenient!

Hotel was great as usual however, the kitchen could clearly not cope with a full restaurant at breakfast. Spent a lot of time waiting for food to be cooked and replenished. Staff were polite.
noel, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

Good place to stay, parking is limited on site
Chris, 1-night trip

Relaxing Stay

Excellent location, with walking along the coast, but limited parking so had to pay for this on our last night. Rather expensive for a small attic room with a shower over the bath which you can't stand up in due to sloping roof. Had to shower kneeling down! But views of the sea and harbour from our room and sound of the sea made up for this. Day/evening menu is limited and average quality but good buffet breakfast. Lovely beer garden with views over the harbour and sea. Bar and waiting staff could do with some customer care training but cleaning ladies were very polite and kept the place spotlessly clean. Overall a relaxing, enjoyable stay
Amanda, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

Great spot. Clean and restaurant had great view
Jennifer, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

room was a pokey insert into the attic with a difficult access via steep, narrow winding stairs, the first flight without handrail
stephen, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Everything was very good for our stay. The only downside was the food wasn’t brilliant and quite costly.Breakfast was adequate but mainly Luke warm and eggs like bullets.Good supply of the cold side of breakfast. We loved our stay, our room was perfect. The staff were so helpful and always busy.Would stay again.
