Amazing staff and comfortable beds.
Yoanha Zulema, 8-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Property was very clean and the price was very cheap for the area. There are a lot of restaurants, bakeries, and shops nearby as well as several train stations. It's a very clean and nice areas and the locals are very friendly.

Great stay.
KUNAL, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Close to subway stations, and cheap but GREAT local restaurants. Slightly out of Tokyo central, property not too noisy. But check in counter (staff not overly helpful, but not rude) was a long way from actual rooms, which were through a maze at the back of the building. Good for the price.

Ladies dormitory was incredibly reasonable on the week day

David, 5-night trip

6/10 Good

Our room smelt like a swamp the entire time. We couldn’t figure out where it came from so had to just keep the windows open. It was an okay space, not very clean, but spacious. We showed up 15 minutes before check in and were asked to wait outside until 3 with our baggage even though our room was ready.

Great hotel!
Comfy plus beds! Hassle free everything you could want and need stayed 6 nights and ate locally most nights. Great local neighbourhood, konbini short walk away and restaurants delicious! Perfect location to Oedo line.

Thanks to I could spending a few days as comfort place and location!
KENICHI, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The public dorm rooms are actually really nice, offering a small kitchenette to cook for yourself and whichever friends from around the world you may meet. The Santoku is a little grocery store that's literally adjacent to the building, and everything else is actually within a good distance for walking too. I would come back in a heartbeat.
Jesse, 5-night trip

great hotel
our stay was comfy, clean and good value for your money. It had dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle in the small kitchen with cups, cutlery, plates, bathroom, two comfy comfy beds, linen was clean. just a great hotel to stay in esp if its for one night just to shower and sleep.
Dilip, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Well situated in a quiet suburb of greater Tokyo. Many small businesses and convenience stores in the local area. Would stay here again, but be aware that the coin dryer is not as efficient as those in North America and can take several hours to dry clothes. It's best to hang dry in sunny weather.
Aedan, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great for the price / A bit far from the subway / A rural place very quiet / Shower booth a bit small but can't complain for the price / A/C was great / There is a seven eleven near by but on the 1st floor there are some vending machines for snacks, ramen, drinks / Wi-Fi was fast better than our pocket wifi (1080p YT almost no lag)
MinChul, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The staff was exceptionally courteous and welcoming. The accommodations matched their descriptions, and the location was walkable, with many great eateries and cultural sites. This is one of the best budget accommodations available.
desean, 15-night trip

6/10 Good

Pleasant 1 week stay.
Good space for 4 people, enough for sleeping 2 per bed. Equipped with microwave, washing machine, stoves, and kitchen sink + hair dryer. Suggested to do online check in. Quite near to subway station, but the pedestrian is a bit rough from the subway station to the hotel. Surrounded by supermarket (7-11 & AEON at the cross section, and 2 local supermarket beside the premises) and also restaurants (Thai, Indian, European, Tully's Coffee, and Japanese-offcourse). 1 minute walk to 24 hours coin laundry. Travellers with heavy luggages should learn the subway station map of each transit station for an elevator or escalator.
hayunaji, 7-night trip

4/10 Fair

This hotel is a backpacker accommodation. Very small and the 3rd bed is a throw mattress on the floor. Not ideal for women over 50 which did not show when I made the booking.
Thomasina, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

It smells very bad, kind of wet, most likely coming from washing machine. Other than that it was ok.
GULTEKIN, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The room was spacious by Tokyo standards. It had everything I needed for a month—including a fridge, stove, microwave, hotpot, washer, basic dishes and pots. The staff is very friendly. The only drawback is the noise caused by guests staying in the dormitory. They often congregated in the outside common area late at night and talked loudly until the early morning hours. The courtyard makes it echo, so they probably weren’t aware they were causing an inconvenience to others. The staff tried to address the issue with signs, but since the area is not monitored at night, it wasn’t enforced. Ear plugs are a must.
Barbara, 28-night trip

4/10 Fair

Rhodes Kagurazaka was average. It was fine as a place to sleep and the toilets, showers and beds were good and clean but the place has no bowls/ cutlery to speak of and communal areas were non existent. There was a corridor with a shelf and some seats but that was it. The majority of guests seem to be middle aged asian men who for the most part keep to themselves. The hostel is about a 10-20 minute walk from the various train stations and it's a fairly quiet area from what I saw. Not a super convenient spot for sightseeing Tokyo but if you're switched on it's workable. Check in and out is done via an ipad in the reception. So that could be convenient if you are checking in late. Nice and cheap so all in all I wouldn't choose to come back but it wasn't a bad experience.
Iluka, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

The bathroom looks clean but smells bad all day for some reason. Building construction right next door starts making loud noises around 7:30 am.
Tin, 2-night trip
