We needed a hotel for 1 evening and didn't want to stay at the airport. Hotel Duus was fairly close (10 minute taxi ride), located near a picturesque marina and had a restaurant on the premise. The room was clean, bed comfortable, the staff was very responsive and helpful with any inquiries. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant! The lobster bisque soup was outstanding! Not only did our server provide excellent dinner service, but she also arranged for our taxi pick up the next morning. I wish we would have had more time to explore Iceland. Next time!! We would definitely recommend Hotel Duus.

no staff in this property. They will send you a code to your room! The hotel is located inside the duus restaurant. It was hard to find as they were no indication where it was. So with that said, you have to enter the restaurant to get to your room upstairs. The room has a kettle and water. Comfortable bed and decent size room! It is next to the bay! A beautiful scenery at night.

The rooms were clean, beds were very comfy, with hot showers. The shower stall was small but we didn’t mind. Having a restaurant for dinner in the same place was very convenient. The only improvement I would suggest is the keypads for self entry. The main door and the room door were both very finicky and we had to make several attempts to enter. Thankfully the main door is open during restaurant open hours or I’m not sure we would have gotten in.

I didn’t see any staff while I was there but the property is easy to contact and they respond quickly. If you’re staying the night in Keflavík this place is perfect. It’s next to the water, the rooms are comfy, close to the airport and a short walk into town.
