Perfect location for rockhounds!

I had the best time during our stay and we'll absolutely be back! The location was perfect for hunting agates and yooperlites and other gorgeous stones. A bit far from any store like walmart so get your necessities prior but there is a gift shop and 2 restaurants on site. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff was great!

Porcupine Mountains stay

Family trip to check out the Porcupine Mountains and really liked our stay, as it was very convenient to enter the park. Thought this was just going to be another average hotel, but the lobby and rooms were nicer than other hotels. Even though an older hotel, the rooms were modern and little more comfort than average. Continental breakfast had a lot of options and sitting area was spacious. Liked that the property abutted the lake and had some bonfire and sitting areas to enjoy the sound of the waves.
