One of the greatest views in the Umpqua region with a very wide and lively stream at the backyard of the property. The sound of river can be heard in the cabin and, with no wifi or tv in the room, it is perfect place for digital detox (restaurant area has wifi). Food was pretty great (ravioli pasta is phenomenal). To our disappointment, the library was closed due to staff shortage. A bar is operation inside the library in normal times.

I had known about Steamboat Inn for years since my wife attended several retreats here, but I'd never stayed there until now. It was amazing: the flowers in full bloom, the cool breeze out on the deck outside our cabin, the fantastic dinner menu, the beautiful river and hillside. The owner, Melinda, was a first rate host and made all of us feel like family. I will definitely come back here often since it's such a beautiful location and so close to hiking and waterfalls.

The restaurant was very ni e. Our cottage was 1/2 mile from the rest of the hotel. There was NO WIFI, TV OR PHONE SERVICE. . IT WAS CERY UNSAFE GIVEN THE FREQUENCY OF FOREST FIRES.

The Steamboat Inn is an amazing place to stay the North Umpqua River. The staff is amazing and the restaurant is superior. Our room was great with a shared deck overlooking the N. Umpqua River. The room is quaint and wall cared for. It is clean with lots of storage and a comfortable bed and great shower. This is a destination stay as you are on an isolated section of the river. There is fishing, great hiking, waterfalls and if you like solitude. We loved our stay here and will return.

This is a beautiful property in the middle of nowhere. We went back and forth to Crater Lake (about 60 min). The staff was wonderful and friendly. The onsite restaurant was delicious but very pricy. The cabins were beautiful and had a fun back porch to enjoy the river behind the inn. The bed and pillows needed a little help.

Beautiful property with clean but somewhat dated accommodations. Customer service was excellent and wait staff very accommodating. Food was definitely hit or miss as food pairings were not well thought out. Portions were reasonable but overall way over prices for the dinner offerings. Breakfast was spot on, reasonably priced and very tasty.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating, location was beautiful. Everything was great except that the cabin was very hot and there were no screened windows to help cool it down. I hope they can find a way to remedy this because everything else about the stay was fantastic
