The room was a bit small but functional but there was some noise from adjacent rooms which I think was caused by pumps operating the water and showers. Although acceptable, it could’ve been a little cleaner. Lots of banging doors, but only to be expected in a traditional old building. The staff were fantastic, the breakfast and dinner was delicious. And you cannot be those surroundings!
