Mother's Day at Swan Lake

I enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day getaway with my mom. Swan Lake Did an excellent job of preparing us for our stay via clear and conciaentext messages. We enjoyed a really modern and spacious cabin and truly enjoyed the seclusion. Mom had such a wonderful stay that she insists on returning for Thanksgiving. This is my second stay at Swan Lake in the past 6 months. Love this place!

Sanctuary House

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Samwan Lake. The house was updated and had all the conveniences of home and then some! We enjoyed sipping our coffee on the rear deck. It was quiet peaceful and clean. Communication was outstanding. We are already planning a family trip back to Swan Lake this summer.

Amazing Stay at SwanLake Resort

It was amazing. The place was incredibly clean and they had everything. The person in charge Joy was extremely pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend staying here. We stayed 4 days.. can't wait to book the next trip

Absolutely in love with this property and already planning another trip. A great getaway from the city life for my son's birthday. The Grill was new and made the best steaks. The washer and dryer was super convenient and we didn't have to worry about taking dirty clothes home. The neighbors are super sweet. Be sure to have a chat with Bruce the man to the left side of the house- his dogs lilly and booboo are the sweetest and Bruce was a lovely addition as well. Owners of the property also offer gym and spa services. If I hadn't JUST had my monthly spa day earlier in the week I would've taken full advantage. The house is adorable and spacious. My husband, mom, and son all settled in perfectly. We honestly didn't want to leave. You're 5 minutes away from a Walmart, Wawa, and storybook land.

The house was really clean and we had a great location. They provided towels and linens which was great as we did not have to pack all of those things.Check in was all done via email. Joy was a pleasure to deal with and helped answer questions about the surrounding area and things to do. It is located not far from the beaches and Atlantic City. Smithville and Renault Winery are close by and we really enjoyed time spent there. I will definitely be back. Thank you Swan Lake for a wonderful vacation.

Note: the number that Expedia gives is incorrect. The number to call to arrange for the key is 1 609-833-5307. Cottage was comfortable. Location is secluded wooded area and only 30 minutes drive to Ocean City beaches.

The place was quite lovely however it felt like the cleaning staff rushed through. There were a couple of things, the refrigerator had spills in it, the mugs had coffee stains, the kitchen sponge wasn’t new so it smelled a little and there were no paper towels, my daughter said she found some hair on the sheets on her bed. If it was cleaned better this would be excellent.

Nice stay with friends

We had a great stay! The adjustable beds were a definite plus. The house is super cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the lake view very much, watching all the ducks was very peaceful. And the development was super quiet. Great communications as far as directions, checking in & out, where to leave the trash, etc. There were just a few small details that could use improvement. A good frying pan would have been helpful, the ones that were provided needed serious cleaning. Luckily I was able to reach out to a friend who was staying with us and they were able to bring a pan from home. The inside of the stove needs cleaning. There were only 2 wash cloths for 4 people, no dishtowel, no extra trash bags and only 1 dishwasher detergent pod. (we did the dishes by hand) That being said, we would definitely stay here again, it wouldn't be enough to keep us from booking again, we would just make sure to bring more ammenities with us next time. My only real complaint, which is also an easy fix, is to make sure the shower floor is rinsed thoroughly after cleaning. Whatever was used left the shower floor super slippery. This could have caused a major injury instead of just a sore hip and knee. But again, the house is super cute, it has a great porch and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice family vacation!

Nice rental home, very quiet area and easy to locate. The homes are close but not too close together, everyone minds their business and were friendly if outside. The walk around resort was lovely.

Lovely all around!!! We were very happy in our little bungalow and the bed even had a heart in reusable rose petals which was supper sweet anddd we were given 6 complimentary fresh eggs!!!!
