The staff were friendly enough but the accommodation is really what you'd imagine as being an immigrant holding station. There's nothing terribly wrong with it, but it's clear that it was never good quality. I won't be staying here again.

Have stayed here a few times now always clean and comfortable the only problems this time were one of the bolts had come loose on the toilet seat and if you wanted hot water from the bathroom tap to turn it far enough the pressure was so high you got soaked, good shower though plenty of hot water. The pub has been refurbished and is looking good we had the sunday carvery which was very good.

Although general cleanliness was okay the room we were in had what we thought were brown stains on the outside of toilet pan and some sort of droppings to the left of the toilet pan. Could have been easily cleaned by the housekeeping staff

Staid here for access to the hospital when visiting a friend. Staff were friendly, the room rate was good and the room was fine. Some of the fixtures looked tired as did things like the menus in the room and other flyers. Good place, good value for money and would stay there again if i needed too.

Wasn't the worst but no service in reception u av to pub. Staff sound. Manager disrespectful.prices start low but go up longer I there. I think u can get breakfast but for eg continental u don't get buffet just 2 slice of toast, 2 croissants n yoghurt. No unlimited buffey like at last last hotel premier at Riverside Derby. Stayed here on new years eve wanted somewhere close enough that was in walking distance to pubs but quiet enough this was perfect the room was nice and big and there was plenty of furniture and plenty of space had a sofa and an enormous bed that was prob the most comfortable bed ive slept on brilliant stay will be back

The room was great value for money! Staff at the pub were nice and welcoming, as was the food. Housekeeping staff need to ensure there is handwash in the bathroom, we had to use our own. The skirting board by the bed had drink spilt all over it- not sure how long it had been there before. This did not effect our stay though but effects the rating given.
