"Un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo. Vi algunos colibris en el jardín y la familia es muy bonito, habla Quechua y español. Es un camino corto desde el centro de Otavalo pero sentí seguro en caminar allí.
So much quieter than other properties in the center of the city. Breakfast is simple but sufficient and I felt safe walking to and from the downtown area for other meals. The owners are wonderful and speak Quechua as well as Spanish. Some beautiful long-tailed hummingbirds were out in the garden."

"This hotel is a feast for the eyes! Exquisite design, decor, garden, and flowers everywhere.
Spacious, comfortable, sleeping, a free shuttle to and from the airport and a gorgeous buffet breakfast and the option to purchase a delicious dinner in the hotel in the evening Made this a wonderful place to stay! Roosters and dogs in the surrounding area nearby will create an early morning wake up for more sensitive sleepers, but the hotel itself… There are no words to say how pleased we all were! Great value! Truly appreciative of this hotel!!!"
"We were in Quito overnight, flying out the next morning, so we wer looking for a lower cost hotel. Tababel Land offered free pickup from the airport so was perfect for ourneeds. Small but cozy and well appointed room. Great helpon check in and in getting us a taxi in the morning. Only issue was that the phone number listed went to an odd sounding recording in Spanish. But we got connected and all ended well."

"This place is absolutely beautiful. Noone would think next to an airport such a mesmerizing finca could exist. The gates open and you are surrounded by cypress trees, llamas that walk the grounds, a duck pond, and bunnies. The grounds are a piece of paradise. The rooms are clean and with huge windows facing the gardens. Their restaurant serves homemade food...best lasagna and ribs. They also have a pool, a well equipped gym, and ping pong table. They take you to the airport for only $5. It was the most relaxing time in Ecuador. Also, very safe behind gated area. "

The front desk does not operate 24/7 and you have to ring a bell on the street to get access to the property. The restroom was not clean and it looked like the common areas have not been cleaned. We found empty bottles of liquor in the common kitchen/living room area. "

There are many activities available and all were fun. Some of the things we enjoyed were a difficult hike, a night walk, beer and chocolate tastings, wine and cheese tastings, and candle making.
