"The location was wonderful for exploring the eastern Dolomites. It was only a few minutes from center of Cortina D'Ampezzo. It's an older facility so rooms were a showing their age. We had a room facing the main street so we did experience traffic noise."

"The staff was helpful and the room was comfortable. The issue is there was an awful smell from the bathroom - the maintenance crew came once to try to fix it but it persisted. Almost unbearable overnight. "

"Centrally located in the center of Cortina. Hotel is rustic in a good way, and all in all gives feelings of “good old days”. Service was across the board unusually good, caring, professional and friendly. If I had the guess, people have been working here for decades and kept good care of. While hotel hasn’t gone through a major renovation recently, it has been well maintained and somehow the old fashioned decoration adds to the “good old days” atmosphere. "Staff at front desk exceptional, old school gentlemen and make sure you get car service and any directions. Hotel is the center of the town and people come to gather there which makes it a great location. Bus takes you straight from hotel to mountain."

"A shout out to the front desk staff, he was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very well situated in the lovely village . Great cafes and restaurants . The breakfast selection was good . The only you should be aware of if the road closes from cortina to san Vito at 8:00 PM, the front desk made us aware of that , but we missed the deadline, so we had to do 1hour and half detour to get back to the village . We were 4 km away only . "

"We enjoyed our stay, and would love to come back! Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast and not least; available snack in the evening (until 18.30 pm- free of charge) - perfect after long hikes in the mountains during the day. The hotel and San Vito di Cadore is a good "base camp" for exploring the Dolomites!"

"The approach to the hotel was terrible due to the construction around.
The hotel didn't instruct us how to nevigate to the hotel's parking.
Eugenia was extremely nice and helpful."

"Great find right in the middle of Cortina d’Ampezzo. Handily, it has parking as clearly parking around the town is tricky at times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Would happily stop here again. "

"Although the property is dated it was fully functional & great value for money.
Lots of space inside & out. & the spa was a lovely way to end the day. Staff all really helpful."
"Stayed for 1 week. Fantastic experience. Highlights were friendly staff, good breakfast and pretty much a private spa every night (we visited in July) - I imagine it would get busy quickly as it's very small but kept very clean. Very good sauna.
Basic rooms but all you need in an area with so much outdoor activities to do.

"The staff was among the best I’ve ever seen. Bernadette, Alex, and especially Serena made our stay extra special. Serena helped sketch out different hiking plans for us each day, based on Weather and our interests. She drilled down to the most specific details to ensure we knew how to get around and accomplish our goals. I’d also like to call out Barbara in food service. She was Warm and helpful and remembered all our names. These guys deserve some kind of spirit award. Thanks for making our stay special."
Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d'Ampezzo, A Radisson Collection Hotel

"Truly a 5 star experience. The attention to the details was impeccable, from the room to the staff and everything in between. Breakfast was a wonderful experience and the wait staff truly attentive. Getting the car daily for our excursions was easy and quick. "
"A cool refurbishment job on an old property. Lobby, bar, dining hall all very cool while being cozy and inviting. Rooms are a bit small, but most all come with a small balcony to view the beautiful mountains rising in the distance."

"We stayed here so we'd have a pool for the kids and could be away from the busier city areas. They had a very convenient parking lot right next to the hotel which was also a big plus. The pool is clean and beautiful and the views from the rooms and the lobby and the dining area are just as good! We never felt crowded or busy, it was a very calm and relaxing vibe.
We had one minor issue and one medium issue. Minor issue was that the Wi-Fi network only worked in the lobby and did not work in our rooms so when I was trying to get some work done that was not convenient. The other issue was the temperature in the rooms… Technically the rooms have air-conditioning but there isn't enough power in the hotel to run them properly so for two of the four nights we stayed the room was uncomfortably warm and my whole family was sweating in the middle of the night."
"We had a family room with bunk beds for the kids and had an excellent stay. The property is minutes from Cortina, but in a quiet setting with beautiful views. The front desk and restaurant staff were courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay again."
"Coming to Cortuna feels like you are being transported to another era. The entire town looks like a storybook. We took the bus here from Venice and due to the Olympics, there is only one bus stop which was just a ten minute walk from our hotel. Our hotel was done in the Bsvarian style and had a restaurant, bar, sauna, and green space are. It is four stories and is a beautiful mix of elegance and craftsmanship. "
