"Great place to stay with children in Florence. Cabins are comfortable with air con and parking is right outside. The swimming pools offer a chance to cool off and relax after a day of sight-seeing, which is easily accessible by local bus from right outside the holiday camp. Breakfasts offer good selection and a pleasant, relaxed dining area. The same place offers evening meals and a well stocked bar. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable short stay which didn't feel like it was on the outskirts of such a major city. We would defintely stay there again."

"Our two night stay at Horto Convento was very nice, from the friendly, helpful staff, to the comfortable bed, to the delicious breakfast. The property is located away from a busy street, in a lovely setting next to a church. If I had to note any issue at all, it would be the very narrow bathroom in our unit. There was a towel heater rack installed behind the door, so it could not be opened all the way, making it even more narrow. Not a big deal, just a design flaw. Overall, a very nice stay!"

"The hotel is located near the train station(S.M.N) and around 30mins walk away from major places of interest such as the Uffizi. Staff members were super nice as well! For me personally, the only downside was the internet being a bit slow, but it's not really a big deal."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was much newer, cleaner, and more spacious than many other hotels we've stayed at in Italy. The style and layout felt more like an American hotel — modern, comfortable, and very functional. The amenities were excellent. We especially appreciated the free laundry facilities, which are rare in Europe. The rooftop bar was a highlight — great atmosphere, excellent drinks, and an incredible view. The pool was small but nicely done, and the entire experience felt easy and relaxing. One thing to note is that the hotel is quite large, and navigating between buildings requires changing elevators. It’s not difficult, but if you’re in a rush, it can be a bit inconvenient. Still, it's a small trade-off for the overall comfort and quality. I think this hotel is best suited for families and younger travelers. While there are elevators and it’s accessible, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for older guests looking for a smaller, more central boutique-style stay. That said, it’s still a much more comfortable option compared to many of the older, smaller hotels in Europe. The location is a bit outside the city center, but still very manageable with public transportation or taxis. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return."

Our stay came With a continental breakfast which was great. We really liked the location in Florence proper. Everything was within a 15-20 minute walk. I will stay there again when we come back to Florence."

"This was by far the best hotel we stayed at over our vacation. The staff from front desk to cleaning staff were helpful, friending, snd responsive. The air conditioning was great. Electrical outlets by the bed, bedding was comfortable. The location was perfect and close to all the major sites and nice restaurants. Highly recommend. "

"The top floor terrace faces the Duomo and Santa Croce, giving a spectacular view of the city lit up at night. The food was very good -- some fun, unique menu items. The staff was friendly & helpful. The only reason the couple of areas that I gave fours were that the room was on the small side, and there was some construction going on along the river -- not the hotel's fault, obviously -- that blocked the view of the river and made the area just in front look a bit industrial. Again, not their fault; just wanted to leave a heads-up that until construction is complete, the area around the property won't be as charming as I assume is usual."
