"Amazing value for money! Pleasant helpful staff. Food varied according to chef from superb (We had one of the best meals of our trip here) to slightly disappointing, food cool, sandwiches a bit curly. Handy location for Ratnapura and its busy gem dealers. Wifi fine, though no pool. Photos of activities slightly naughty as they are not on site or within walking distance. We had a very pleasant stay here."

The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall tour is excellent.

"A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk to tea plantations (1h) or hike down to a waterfall close by. A beautiful stay! Thanks "
