"Villa Borobudur is set in a stunning location, nestled in beautiful green forests with views of distant volcanos. It had 2 large pools with infinity edges, overlooking the scenery. Staff at Villa Borobudur couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. We were greeted with warmth every time we had any interactions. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed trying out batik while my husband and son had great fun at a cookery class. We also enjoyed a hike and I would thoroughly recommend a guided cycle trip through the local village and market. "

"A stop was lovely. The walls were very thin and because they only give you one key there’s people constantly banging on doors to be let in this happened all through the night. It was quite annoying. Also, you need a key to get in the elevator so every time one of us would leave you’d have to go down to get them because the key was also your electricity. Definitely needs to be sprayed. There were quite a few roaches, but overall the hotel was kept up very nicely"

"It was quite nice, we stayed there what felt like a long time. The staff were so friendly and helpful, at some point it felt like a second home. Some of the facilities were a bit miss, such as our sink tap just being just broken though still functional. But everything else was quite pleasant. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely go back. "Staying 2 night at this hotel, I wouldn't expected much really, what I expected was comfortable sleep, but that seem impossible, because right cross of the road, there were a cafe or a club that play music very loud until 2am. If you like quiet place avoid to stay in this hotel. I know it's not the hotel faults, but I wouldn't recommended for people's who like to stay in the quiet environment. But for people's who like hang out, and partying, there are few cafe and bars around the area, some with live entertainment. The room was basic, it appears look like use to be an office, according the room door. The swimming pool look good, but unfortunately I didn't have have time to try it. And there was no breakfast facility or tea or coffee making."

"Really love the hotel. I picked it because of its location near the train station as I was coming from Jakarta by train, then going to the airport (there is an airport train which takes 1/2 hour). The staff is extremely nice. The breakfast was fantastic… The pool was nice! Internet was reliable, bed comfortable, room spacious, TV had English news and movies. I would definitely come back! "
