"Domes was an excellent family holiday destination. Firstly the staff were all incredible, they really couldn't do more for us. The Villa we had, with a pool, was spacious and lovely. The restaurants on site were fantastic, the beach was great, with excellent Watersport options and a short 5 min boat ride to Spinalonga. A short walk to the gorgeous Plaka was a great plus, with its shops, restaurants and beautiful coves to enjoy a dip in. A drink at Isla's followed by a snorkel in the sea. Overall a wonderful stay, highly recommended. "

"This place was amazing, looked just like a postcard. The staff was amazing! Konstantinos at the lunch restaurant was incredible and super friendly!! If you eat there get the cheesecake, best dessert I’ve had. The gift shop is great too with lots of cute items and the lady that runs it is very friendly. Will definitely come back again!"

"The property is not well maintained, nice rooms but not fully clean (sofa and balcony chairs are not clean at all) and service is not at the level of a 5 stars. Kind service’s attendees are an exception. "

"We loved our stay at Meliti hotel, the staff was very nice, and we are already missing the wonderful view. Breakfast was lovely and different every day and the hotel was quiet and relaxing. As the hotel is located equidistant from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda you would be better with a car, although at the bottom of the street there is the bus stop for both places. Nearby tavernas we tried were also very nice. "

"A couple of minor things to note from the hotel description; They do not operate an airport shuttle bus, and there is no car parking on site. However, there is plenty of parking in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect as far as I am concerned. It is small enough as to never seem overcrowded, even at full capacity. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Also, the bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept in when away from home. As for the staff, they are attentive and helpful. "

"We arrived around midnight, reception was closed but easy to get in. Breakfast was continetal, fantastic. The room was amazing, especially the tub on the patio. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of pillows. The whole room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels. The staff we met were all very griendly and helpful. Location was fab, a minute from the beach and restaurants. "

"Lovely hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Very good breakfast buffet with plenty of choices. A la carte lunchtime restaurant and room service were very good. Lovely pool area, quiet and relaxed, plenty of sun loungers. Nice bar and seating areas. Attractive well kept grounds. We had a deluxe suite with private infinity pool: the room was comfortable, well-furnished, clean, with good storage. The private terrace and pool were fabulous and really enhanced our stay. About 20 min straightforward walk to the square and harbour in Elounda and a wide range of restaurants and bars. Very easy to get taxis and reasonably priced. I’d happily return."

"We were delighted w our room w its own private pool. Buffet food was super and easy to change for lunch instead of dinner. Staff were very polite and helpful. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Would def recommend for couples and families. The resort is in a steep incline so less suitable for people w mobility difficulties. Ag Nik is a surprisingly lovely town w great restaurants and shops near the lake. Beach near the hotel was perfect. We hope to go back next year! "

"Superb service and good food. This hotel stands out from many others in Crete for its location, close to a very pretty village with genuinely excellent tavernas. The island of Spinalonga also adds a lot of charm to the area."

"The villa was over two floors with the bedrooms being downstairs and therefore cooler overall. The reception was manned at all times and were so helpful and friendly. Even offered to give us a list to the local town if we didn't want to drive. A car was needed due to the location but that worked well for us and parking was fine. The facilities were great inside and out - had everything we needed and the welcome package was a nice touch. The pool was pretty private and big enough to do a little swimming too. We loved the area and managed to explore a few local towns and went on an excursion or two and got picked up from the villa. Overall - a great experience and a lovely getaway."

"La cucina orribile. L' acqua non è compresa nella mezza pensione. 3 euro una bottiglia d'acqua, 4 euro frizzante. Nel buffet abbiamo visto capelli qua e là. La struttura avrebbe bisogno di maggiore pulizia e manutenzione. Animazione inesistente. La struttura è fronte mare, ma non puoi fare il bagno perché è roccioso. Nel mio voucher Expedia c'era scritto che avremmo ricevuto un omaggio e un drink di benvenuto. Abbiamo chiesto in reception e ci hanno detto che è un errore di Expedia, hanno anche fotografato il voucher per segnalare ad Expedia.it questo errore. Per scusarsi ci hanno promesso una bottiglia di vino e della frutta. Li abbiamo ricevuti 2 giorni dopo su sollecitazione. La mattina dopo hanno pulito la camera e portato via il piatto con la frutta. La camera con jacuzzi era piccolissima e la bambina dormiva sulla brandina. Jacuzzi inutilizzabile durante il giorno per il troppo sole. Dopo 4 giorni di permanenza ci hanno chiesto se tutto andasse bene. Ci hanno cambiato la stanza, dandocene una più grande, con lettini e jacuzzi coperta da tetto. L' ultimo giorno, dunque, abbiamo usufruito di una stanza migliore. Sinceramente molto deludente. "

"This is an excellent property . Outstanding location. Lots of amenities. Really enjoyed our stay there. Great food selection. If i have to pick something which I did not like is that there is a separate cost for things like water and coffee. Water bottle costs 3 Euro. It’s not an all inclusive resort. Water, Coffee are not included in the room price with full board."

"Laid back luxury. Fantastic hotel, one of the best we’ve been to. Went for baby moon. Place is quiet, full of families with very well behaved children, teen children, and couples looking for a relaxing time. All amenities are great - likely recently renovated. Food was delicious, didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel for 7 days. Sun loungers are high quality and comfortable. Room is spacious. The staff is on another level of professionalism. Shout out to Simos - professional, kind, going above and beyond day after day. Very impressed. From the waiters, cleaning staff, reception stuff - everyone was absolutely great. Room exactly as advertised. Will absolutely return. "

"The staff at Phaea Blue and the location are what made our trip so pleasurable. The resort feels like a village on the hillside. The area is quiet and the village of Plaka is close by and walkable. We ate their each night and the food in Plaka is superb! We booked a Luxury Bungalow with pool and sea view which was delightful and lovely after a hot day on the beach. Will return."

"Excellent hotel, helpful & friendly staff. Food very good - great breakfast and good variety of evening restaurants. Walking distance to Elounda town for local restaurants and bars, and boat trips. We would definitely recommend and go back in the future. Maybe not ideal for those with limited mobility as large and spacious hotel on a number of levels with limited lift access."
