"Staff all really nice. Its really handy for the cliffs which has a beautiful beach below. The hotel is in need of a revamp for sure. Let's hope it can remain in business in the future because its the only public house, restaurant/ hotel in the village "

"Room was small but tidy, bed was a double, not great but ok. Towels were very thin. Almost see through. Shower cubicle was tiny, shower head could only sit straight up, if ypu angled it at all it just flopped over. Pressure and temperature was ok. TV was tiny. Inn gave us a packed lunch for the next day due to breakfast not starting till 9am. The website said breakfast 7 till 9. Not great for £70. Probably not use it again"

"This is a great little bed and breakfast, out in the middle of farming country in rural Scotland. We were there to explore several of the little villages out that way, so this was the perfect location! Breakfast was terrific, the room was spacious and cozy. We'd definitely stay here again!"

"The staff was good and the food in the restaurant was good. The downside was Sharky's across the street was so loud on Friday night and Saturday night, my wife and I could not fall asleep until after two AM.."

"Very good experience from check-in to checkout. Staff were extremely good. One word of warning though. No lift makes staying in room 25 upwards a bit of a trek. Besides that the room itself was worth it. "

"The staff made the trip. The house & grounds were great but the staff really stood out for being so friendly & welcoming. We stayed in an annex which wasn’t as nice as the main house but overlooked the gardens & was comfortable. "

"Great location not far from the town centre and a short 5 min walk to the old harbour. View out of the room is insane, looking straight over the beach and out to sea. Great continental breakfast selection."

"Great room at the top of the building, the shower was really good. Breakfast was continental and a brilliant start to the day. Room was cleaned every day and wifi was great. If you have trouble with stairs ask for room 7 on the ground floor."

"We had an amazing stay at Crawfield Grange. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help us, whether it was things to do or where to eat. The room was immaculate and all the little deatils made the stay better. I would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance."

"This is my second time at Ardoe and I just love it there. You can’t get more picturesque, unique or enjoyable than staying in a small castle. The grounds are magical with highland cows over the hill and sheep grazing down the garden. The staff are lovely and the dining options are wonderful. Soapies Bar is a cozy’s and friendly gathering place. Hope to return again!"
