We enjoyed the Magical Mystery Tour which took us to all the places associated with the Beatles. The river cruise was quite interesting but we would have done the barge cruise from Albert Dock if we had known about it. The hop on hop off bus was good

Great for shopping, browsing, walking and dining, has gotten a bit expensive over the years but not as bad as London but as I'm not a drinker I avoid the madness of Mathew street, too loud and messy with drunks, go in the morning when they hose it

Liverpool is a city of contrasts. Utter poverty exists alongside considerable affluence. Lots to see, do and buy. Plenty of places to either get completely maggoted or mildly disinhibited. The Waterfront and The Walker sculpture gallery are great.

Don't miss the Beatles bus tour that also includes 48hours use of the hop on hop off bus. Empire Theatre is beautiful venue. Too many things to list as there is so much to do and see all in walking distance and no shortage of pubs and eateries

This area will be unrecognisable in the next 12 months, with significant development planned around the stadium. Liverpool is the friendliest City in the UK steeped in history. The building, the restaurants the Arena, the football, the arts...

Visit very regularly as huge Beatles fan!! Just love the vibe and atmosphere of Liverpool. I visited alone this time and felt very safe at all times. Did the 360degree liver building tour!!! Well worth a visit. Watched Pride procession !!
"Great stay. Only thing to point out is that parking is not free it is £10 for 24 hours and you will need to pay each tome you leave the premises. 1st hour is free. Also expect a tourist charge of £2.40per day on top of your bill. Really nice breakfast included so many choices of breakfast foods. Also there was snacks left in the room with no clear information on whether they were free. No price list so we didnt touch anything."

"Did not let you check-in until dead on 3pm.
This resulted in a huge queue at reception and self service kiosks did not work.
Actually felt really sorry for the reception staff who were under a lot of pressure."

"Room was spacious and comfortable. I did not use the bar or restaurant on this visit but the hotel had a very relaxed laidback feel and I would definitely stay again. "
"Prior to checking in, the resident hotel offered an upgrade option, which I took advantage of due to the amazing price. I am so thankful for the upgrade as it gave my party of three ample space to share one room with essentially two sections and two separate beds. My family and I felt very safe as there was additional security past a certain time at night which required all patrons show their room keys and verify their names. I would stay here again on my next trip to Liverpool and I highly recommend this hotel."

" Lovely hotel in a beautiful old building which has been converted into the hotel but kept all the amazing features of the old architecture. Our room was lovely and clean. Bed and pillows very comfy. Breakfast buffet was good with choices of hot English breakfast or cold continental and a choice of pastries too. Short walk to either the river or into the lively area of Matthew St where there are lots of bars with live music.
A great hotel. Would stay again if we visit Liverpool again. "
"Both Malmaison Glasgow and Liverpool have an excellent bar program. BTG offerings are well-chosen and well-priced. Beds in both locations excellent too."
