"We stayed at the hotel as a party of 4 in 2 rooms for 4 nights, and it was an excellent base for getting out and about in Provence. The property is very clean and well maintained with ample secure parking. The outdoor pool is not very big but there appeared to be ample sun loungers and it was very refreshing at the end of a day’s sightseeing. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette which was sufficient for us to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners but it should be noted this room is also your bedroom so easy on the garlic and onions! There were food options on site and we did avail of breakfast on one day which was convenient and sufficient but overall not great value. We made more use of the local Boulanger and Lidl for breakfast. There are good grocery shops nearby, Lidl and a ‘U’ Express as well as take away pizza and rotisserie Chicken outlets. It’s a bit of a stretch to associate the hotel with Aix en Provence as it’s actually in a town called Bouc Bel Air which is a 15-20 minute car drive away from Aix. There’s a bus stop at the end of the road to the hotel and the centre of Aix is a 30 minute bus ride. Aix is very pretty and well worth a visit. One sullen member of staff aside, who maybe was having a bad day, I would recommend the hotel as an excellent base for touring the area. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and secure. It is more like a motel than a hotel and I would say that a car is essential."

"Excellent location! Portside room view worth the price. Evening receptionist great. Took extra steps unprompted to get my bottle of wine chilled, then drew map of local wine shops to explore. City shut down street for a few weeks which caused our driver additional half hour in traffic. Hotel should post a notice on web or email guests scheduled to arrive to clarify back door dropoff address."

"Phenomenal Hotel. The Staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful, and our suite was very comfortable. All of the staff were smiling and gracious. Luca at the concierge was truly hospitable. He gave great recommendations and was always willing to help. Genuinely friendl and sincere. More concierges should give service like him. Lea at the reception was also quite friendly and welcoming. We appreciated her. This is a true gem of a hotel. Highly recommend. "

"We, a family of 4 with 2 teenager, stayed for 5 days at Le Set in 2 separate rooms. We were all very positively surprised about the quality og the hotel - everything was new, clean and nice. The sportsfacilities were all super nice. All the staff were extremely service oriented and always with a smile and helpful. The pool area was the best - with a bar and restaurant and good atmosphere. And if you like to shop - both Aix-en-Provence and Marseille is very close. We will for sure come back!!"

"The hotel is well located. Less than 5 minutes walk to the tram and 4 stops gets you close to the buzzing Old Port area. The bedrooms are small and compact but spotlessly clean. The breakfast takes buffet to a new level. They serve the world’s smallest croissants and pain au chocolat. This is France guys!! Maybe look around for other breakfast options."

"Wow is the world to describe this hotel. Exceptional might be another one. I can not believe the level attention to detail, luxury & service. Every single member of staff we encountered from the valet team, the luggage transporters, reception staff & breakfast staff were remarkably kind, fun and friendly as well as helpful. This is the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in our lives… and we have stayed in many fancy and expensive hotels during our lives and this one beats them all. Do not book anywhere else for your stay. As a family of three we are sad we didn’t stay the whole week for our trip. We will back. Well done to EVERYONE. 10/10 for everything. Merci!!!!!!! "

"The location was awesome! A 1-2 minute walk to Vieux Port! We had a little kitchenette, which was nice. Comfortable beds, decent shower. No frills, but no complaints! The staff were friendly and helpful. "
