"We spent three nights at the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We had never been to Vichy. The experience was excellent, the hotel was beautiful and everything was clean and up-to-date. We booked a junior suite, which was lovely. Evening cocktails in the beautiful bar were beautifully served. Our spa treatments were excellent and the facilities are modern and very clean. Highly recommend!"

"Great stay! It feels like you’re in somebody’s gorgeous home - a lot of space. We loved the boardgames available. Slept really well. The host is also very nice and the breakfeast is in a gorgeous terrace. "

"Was so lucky to find this hidden gem! It was way too hot to walk around Vichy like we’d planned, so we got there a little early and were super happy our room was already ready. We spent the whole afternoon hanging out by the covered pool, which was perfect in the heat and we had it all to ourselves. The room was really spacious and thankfully had air conditioning 🙏. Also, the linen sheets were amazing, I was obsessed. For dinner, we had a charcuterie board that was so good and a generous serving. Loved that they added fresh and dried fruit. We finished the night with a glass of wine in the “salle de Napoléon,” which was super peaceful and relaxing. The owners are new but really friendly and gave us some great tips for what to check out in Vichy. Breakfast was delicious too, and they even had non-dairy milk which was great for my lactose intolerance! We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in France! "Property is easy to find and off the A71 so great for an overnight stopover. Rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Shower was clean and hot water. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. "

"Wonderful Stay ! I loved my stay! The breakfast was excellent. My dad and I booked a twin room on the top floor – it was spacious, nicely decorated, and had a lovely bathroom. The building's exterior is charming as well. The location was super convenient, just a 2-minute walk from the Palais des Congrès, which was perfect for the Scrabble competition. We’ll definitely book again next time! Excellent séjour J’ai adoré mon séjour ! Le petit-déjeuner était excellent. J'avais réservé une grande chambre au dernier étage pour mon père et moi : spacieuse, joliment décorée, avec une belle salle de bain. L’extérieur de l’hôtel est également très agréable. L’emplacement est idéal, à seulement 2 minutes du Palais des Congrès, parfait pour la compétition de Scrabble. Je réserverai à nouveau sans hésiter ! "

"From the moment we arrived, receiving the warmest of welcomes, we throughly enjoyed our stay at Château du Bruges. The attention to detail and quality, from the rooms, to the food, made for the best stay in our extended French trip. The hosts also make good use of lovely local produce and take time to explain them. Guests are extremely well catered for, to a standard commensurate with highest quality establishments. In summary, we would highly recommend Château du Bruges to anyone considering a visit to this area and commend the hosts, Jake and Danielle for their exemplary standards of service. "

"Nice town to stop at. The place has obviously seen better days (probably before they built the Autoroute), but for the price it was fine. Clean, friendly with a bar and decent food. Secure parking was a bonus. Obviously if you spend more you will get better but it was just an overnight stop whilst travelling."

"Arrived 10pm at night, not sure howbto check in initially but then Receptionist appeared who was able to check me in &.gave me my room card, we was on the 2nd floor room no. 24 at the end, stairs to two levels were outside - Receptionist offered me help with my bags... Room was clean, freshly painted and clean white sheets - only couple of comments to make - was toilet & shower was small, not good for larger tourists but Ok for us - has a small desk, but thought lighting in the room coukd of been a bit better... Has a TV with a moveable arm, plus a remote - suited us, for our 2 night stay....."
