"Lights in room didn't work, no towels, bad smell of stale cigarettes "

"Awful, the key card wasn't working, so we had to go to the reception (at the other hotel) to ask for another one (all happening at 1am in the morning), the duvet cover was burned (from a cigarette I guess), the pillows are not really pillows, and in the bathroom there was 1 toilet paper roll already used. "

"This is a nice hotel in the centre of Bethune. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. The bar and restaurant are excellent. Parking is available nearby and is not too expensive for a central location. All in all a nice place to stay"

"We arrived extremely late (1am) so used the after hours check in however it struggled to recognise our booking until we tried my first name for the surname entry! After that it was plain sailing. For €40, it was comfortable, convenient and somewhere to lay our heads before a long onward journey "

"Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. Stay away! Nice area, but not...
