I had to bus a table myself then scramble around looking for clean dishes to eat on. Noticed staff pointing at me and talking about me rather than helping me. "Fascinating old building, lots of character. Room large and pleasant. Good buffet breakfast. Only niggle was that there was only one rather small pillow each - fine for my wife (and presumably, many others) but I really missed having another. I did ask, but it seemed that the, otherwise very helpful and friendly, staff couldn't find one.
Apart from that, we very much enjoyed our stay. The free local buses are a bonus if you're travelling by train - it's quite a long walk from the station!"
