"Do not stay here! This hotel is used for all the tradesmen in the area: rooms stank of smoke and there were men standing around the car park watching us the entire time. The room was not clean and had smoke stains and holes on the bedding. Not worth the money you’d save, just go somewhere else."

"We booked the suite room in this family run Château. We came away without the children for a weekend of peace & quiet but the family have children and a baby, the baby cried during the day and in the evening we heard a lot of banging on the floor above our room. It’s not pleasant if you want time away from kids. The room was tired and breaking, the bed was hard and the pillows were big square decorative pillows not sleeping pillows. it did not make for a comfortable sleep. The kettle was incredibly dirty and the bottle of water they state that every room comes with, was literally a flask filled with tap water. The outdoor pool was dirty with a lot of Algae at the bottom and we had to use a coffee cup to fish out all the dead bugs in the hot tub before we could use it as there was no pool net available. We paid €160 for a couples massage that we specifically requested was a deep tissue massage for just the head, neck, shoulder and upper back, but was given a non deep tissue full body massage. "

"On our way back to the UK we were looking for an overnight stay and booked this Best Western Plus, Le Picardy. This has to be one of the nicest Best Western Hotels. A wonderful and kind welcome from Luana, who also recommended a lovely restaurant a minute’s walk away called La Huit 8. We were upgraded to a very spacious bedroom & bathroom. I would definitely recommend "

"Moulin Royale was the perfect place to stay while seeing the Pierrefonds Castle. It is an 8 minute drive to Pierrefonds. We enjoyed our suite for two nights, it was very peaceful and relaxing! I loved the salt water pool and made sure I went in it both days we were there. Mohammed was very hospitable and breakfast was delicious every day. We loved this bed and breakfast and we will tell everyone we know about our fantastic experience. We will stay here again the next time we are in France which is usually every year we fly into Paris!"

"They offered me to park my motorcycle inside a secure enclosed yard for the night. This is a very cheap place to stay for a night of transit. I will go back."

"Not your usual stop over hotel, this seems to be a wedding venue that also lets rooms when they can. The house and grounds are amazing and a real privilege to visit. Friendly staff. Couldn’t get the EV charging to work, seemed to be an older Tesla charger."

"Check was confusing, we had to go to the retirement home reception. Room was great, beautiful bathroom. No nearby eateries, ordered in. Don’t bother booking the breakfast,he’d to keep asking for things like plates. "

"We arrived late in the evening and called our hosts they gave checkin instructions over the phone and all the info we needed for our stay. The apartment was lovely and beautifully furnished and stocked. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. I highly recommend staying here. The only concern one might have is there is no elevator, it was no problem for us but could be. The whole building was incredibly beautiful and so quaint. "

"A great overnight stop en route to skiing . Secure car park a big plus ! Arrived late but reception was open and very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable although hairdryer would be good ! Breakfast good . Overall, great . Really good bar a short distance away my kids tell me 😀"

"We needed a stop off for our trip to the Alps, and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. The check in was easy and the rooms were comfy and warm. There are various food options in close proximity, petrol station near by and supermarket. "

"This was a highlight of our 2-week trip to France. The chatelet and property are just beautiful, and, as a musician, the history of the property was just magical. The host is so welcoming and generous with her advice about local attractions. She made us dinner reservations at a charming bistro that was the best meal of our trip, and sent us on the most wonderful local drive. Breakfast was perfect. If you are near Compiegne, you won’t regret a night or 2 or 3 at the Villa du Chatelet."
